Playoffs - Odd number of teams and more Bye week options
This playoff format would allow for an odd number of teams in the playoffs and other options for Bye weeks in the first week of playoffs. Currently, this is not an option for playoff formats.

This will allow leagues to have a more simulated MLB experience. These options are already provided on a competitors page, and would help keep Yahoo! on top of the fantasy mountain.

Is there anyway that you could give the option of having an MLB style playoffs? For example, in my league we have an AL East & West, and and NL East & West. We would like to do a playoff where the division winners in the AL just play each other and the division winners in the NL just play each other, with the AL and NL just meeting in the championship.

agreed. H2H results should ALWAYS be the 1st tiebreaker.

Bogus that there is not a consolation for an 8 team championship. We had 16 teams, so we should have had an 8 team consolation bracket. Brutal. Can't figure out why you would block that...

Allow commissioners to set playoff matchups. My league is broken into 2 leagues, the AL and NL. The schedule was set to have division and league heavy matchups and only 2 interleague games per team. Now I have to manually track the divisional, championship and world series matchups because YAHOO will only seed the league 1-8 and not allow me to set the seeding at 1-4/1-4 for each league. TERRIBLE.
