Dynasty/Keepers - Leave league open to allow trading, adds, and drops during the offseason.
This would allow managers to make all league transactions within the platform, including adds, drops, and trades, throughout the year.

So far it seems that Yahoo does not want to cater to Dynasty baseball leagues. Year after year they have an endless number of players week after week. Who are available on every other site before they are called up & not available on Yahoo until after they are called up. Making it by far the worst site for Dynasty leagues out there. We shall see if they do a better job of it this year. I hope so but I doubt it. Last year it was bought up a multitude of times on their forums for complaints & there seemingly canned response was. We know you don't like it That is the way we do it. We are not changing it Problem solved SMH

I am in a league that has round trades, as long as players are involved with it. Trade off season by email and the Commissioner adjusts the deals made. Have 6 player keeper league, with 1-2-3 year contracts, Love this league. Good Luck to all in 2019, make that special trade.

I feel like they are going the opposite direction on the category. Changing the access to a players history was a big mistake. Many successful commissioners use profike history to decide if a person is eligible for their league. Without begin able to access a what a players has done and replaced it with generic results that can be easily manipulated if willing. Has made it more and more difficult to recruit a quality manager

Keep the leagues open all year. Yes, close for 2-3 days for maintenance but otherwise, allow leagues to draft, add players, look at stats, etc for the whole year.

"Forcing commissioners to enter (and calculate) all keeper info by hand isn't actually supporting keeper leagues - what Yahoo calls "Keeper Leagues" is really "recurring leagues", in which nothing other than team names and league settings are saved."
Dude, you're doing something wrong if all you're pulling over is team names. Are you enabling keeper functions?

Yes please! We currently have a "Hot Stove" week where we allow trades, but it all has to be tracked by hand and forced into the system once yahoo launches in Feb.

Yahoo should start actually supporting keeper functionality, where you can track rosters, years kept, salaries, etc., and can set how many years players can be kept, salary bumps, etc. CBS has been doing this for about 10 years already so it's very achievable technologically.

This feature is a must. Sadly, yahoo only seems to be “gathering feedback” for the past 5 years on all of the most desired suggested new settings topics on these message boards. I love yahoo’s platform. However, for all of us dynasty leaguers, yahoo is ages behind their competition in customization settings and year-round availability. It’s really very frustrating.

Please allow off season trading of players, minor league players, draft picks and waiver priority position while still allowing teams to veto any deal.

I completely agree with this comment. Both off-season trading and unrestricted (ie not required to match 1 for 1 draft picks when trading picks, or pick for player trades) should be a priority to add to Yahoo Fantasy Baseball. It's the only way to unlock the value of smart draft picks from season to season in a dynasty league. Without this ability essentially you really don't have a dynasty league.

This would be very rad.

I agree, this has been something that my league has wanted for a long time... this should be an option

Speaking on behalf of both of my leagues, I think off season trading should be allowed. You should be allowed to trade draft picks and players. Not only does it keep people motivated but keeps baseball alive all year long. I don't see no reason why this shouldn't be allowed effective immediately.
