Would it be possible to allow the Yahoo Player Listing to be downloaded into an Excel type format? Some users like to run analytics on the player data to see trends, etc and this functionality would be a very useful tool.

I like this idea a lot but would rather see a comma separated values (CSV) format since not everyone uses Excel. CVS is easily imported to any spreadsheet.

Yes that would definitely help cuz the yahoo ship is sinking & sounds like everyone is abandoning ship!

Great idea! Yahoo this sounds like a good compromise, since our opinions don't seem to matter to you maybe you could at least reward us for our loyalty over the years and help us on our way.

There are currently no exporting or importing options available on Yahoo! fantasy games.

Excellent idea. Not as excellent as just responding to people, and probably unlikely given the denseness displayed in customer service, but that would be handy.

Since yahoo is refusing to simply listen to its users, and return the option of choosing one's background color, as well as blaming their users for "choosing" this option through feedback, paired with the inability to not only admit this was a mistake and apologize for the inconvenience, but going even further to ignore the popular opinion and refuse to right a clear wrong; I was wondering if Yahoo can develope an easy system to export our league settings and features, as well as historical data so that we can more easily migrate our leagues to a more conducive fantasy sporting site.
This would really help when the majority of your users jump ship at the end of the baseball season.

I would really like to have the ability to export player lists and stats as well. Please add my name to the list wanting this ability.

I have a VBA Macro that formats the data after I've copied and pasted it. This feature would definitely keep my on Y! pages more than searching for databases elsewhere.

For my league of nerds this would be excellent end of season option.

Yes! I had put a significant portion of my football stats in by hand this year. Baseball I was able to export from MLB.com, but that still required formatting issues to get it all in right. I wholeheartedly support this idea!

Yes please! I have been wanting this forever!

And a simple printing option that won't include color and graphics....just the names and stats like every other site allows you to do
Don't you want people doing their statistical research from your site? As it is now, we only use you for the league and never for analysis because its unbearable to deal with your format and lack of simple exporting/printing

Agreed. Copying and pasting the player list, for example, requires a ton of extra formatting once in excel to make it usable.

Ditto. It has a hyperlink button but not an import file button.

If users had the ability to export items to Excel, it'd be so much easier. I can get player stats exported easily from other sites, but I can't get the Yahoo O-Rank. Currently I have to copy and paste the list of players and do that for every 25 players, it's extremely painful and tedious.
Copying and pasting the standings pages, isn't that big of deal, but it'd be nice to have a quick export to Excel option. This is applicable to several different parts of Fantasy baseball.
