[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Feedback regarding the removal of message boards from Fantasy Baseball in the 2023 season.
Fantasy league message boards are not going to be available for the current season however you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. You can continue to communicate with your league via Fantasy Chat, email and commissioner notes. Moving forward we are investing in chat as the best place for league communication and will be adding threading, pinning, polls and more. We welcome your feedback below about how your league used message boards to help us make future improvements.

how are we supposed to communcate with the league when you can't reply to the Commissioner's emails and no messgae board? This is a bad design

I'm playing with a bunch of randos and can't even make small talk? This dramatically reduces the fantasy experience and will cause me to go elsewhere next season. If you think you're going to bundle this it some type of additional charge, forget about it. This is standard table stakes capabilty for a fantasy league. There are way too many options out there to be yanking folks around like this.

You want our input yet you are not going to do anything about it. Even though we all want it back!! Why ask for feedback if you have no intention of changing it back??!! You have sucked the fun out of doing this!! Read your feedback and change it back!!!

It's taken the fun out of the leagues, there is next to no communication at all in any league. It's totally anonymous. I've had contact with one player in the Chat format in all the years of playing. Most players do not make their email available - it's dull

This sucks, whoever made this decision should be unemployed. How are you even supposed to say 'congratulations' at the end of the season? No communication at all makes it a very cold experience. And 'messaging' just doesn't cut it.

Bad move, Yahoo!. Taking away the message board for private leagues is a terrible idea. Emailing the league is not a good option since many people use secondary emails to sign off for sites to avoid spam in their primary emails. I also don't want to get tens of emails a day. The message board feature was great, why remove it?

Please restore message boards/add a chat feature. Talking to the league is one of the best parts of fantasy

Hey Yahoo, I'll give you $50 if you'll restore messaging to leagues and drafts. . .and another fifty if you'll quit tampering with my Team settings! I'm tired AF of having to constantly change my display mode back to Roster (and saving).
I've been playing Yahoo FF since 2001 and can honestly say, this year's leagues are a complete disaster. Whoever you have in charge of making changes, fire them immediately. They're complete morons.

I don’t like that at all because it’s so much easier for me to do it than it is for you and me and you to be there and you can just sit in your room with your friends or just hang in the house and you can go out to dinner or whatever and then we could just sit outside together for like an hours or something like this I just want you know that I’m not trying not trying I’m just putting my head down on this I don’t know why you have a bad feeling and I’m trying not trying and I’m just saying that you have to do this and I don’t want to be around people who want to be friends and I’m not gonna do that you have to do it on the phone with me being friends and I’m just joking around with my because you don’t have a problem if you’re just being nice and I’m just not gonna do that you just want me and you just want me or you’re just being rude and I’m just not being rude and I just want somebody that I’m trying and I’m just not doing that I’m not

I was trying to get in the draft room of my private league and ended up accidentally going to the draft now page, which put me in a public room. "NOW IM STUCK IN A PUBLIC LEAGUE I DO NOT WANT TO BE IN, THE WORSE PART IS THERE IS NO WAY TO DELETE TEAM"

I wish I knew this before I paid. This is a league filled with strangers, we need every form of communication that we can get, it’s easy to miss attempts at communication in fantasy through the yahoo app. The leagues aren’t as fun when communication the forms communication of are discouraging.

Why don't you add the message boards back in private leagues. There is very little communication in Public Leagues anyways with the exception of "Congrats to winner" or "good luck everybody".
