Injured Reserve flaw needs immediate (before the season starts) attention!
I have multiple people on my team that are slated to miss extended time, including Michael Porter Jr. who your own updates say might miss the entire season, yet you have him listed as Out, so I can't put him on the IR. Seasons are often decided by great waiver pick ups, and I can't make a move without cutting a player (keeper league) even though I should be able to move my "obviously out for more than 7 days" (Yahoo definition of IR) player to the IR and make a waiver pick up before the hot players are all gone.
This bizarre inattention could cost me the season before it even begins.
Isaiah Thomas is not starting the season and his team has said they have no timetable other than to not rush him - still not IR eligible. Why isn't anyone paying attention to this?

Their policy on this makes it seem like they don't want anybody to own or pick up anybody with an injury because it's a huge hassle if you do. First four weeks of the football season I went thru **** because of this because I drafted Alshon Jeffery and he didn't play until week 5.

Yahoo doesn't seem to understand the ramifications of these injury classifications. I've complained about this several times especially in football. They move people from OUT to DOUBTFUL or QUESTIONABLE and then you're blocked from making waiver claims. Week 6 in football Geronimo Allison was OUT so I had him on IR. Packers were on a bye in Week 7 and they moved Allison from OUT to QUESTIONABLE which of course blocked me from making claims for the entire week unless I drop two players. It's a little different in football because they let you put OUT on the IL. They don't do it in basketball.

Great point. Rondo and Ingram are "INJ" and Paul is simply "OUT" and they are suspended. Meanwhile, Will Barton is "OUT". Yahoo is completely screwing this up. I've already missed 2 pick-ups because I can't move Barton to IL. Thanks Yahoo!

I currently have Knox and Barton slated to miss time per Yahoo note but yet they still only have an "O" distinction... Why does it take Yahoo so long to change their status so that they can be placed on the IR and I can make a roster move? People miss out on key pick ups off the waiver when the INJ tag isn't applied.

Yea it doesnt make any sense as to why an owner should be able to stash Andre Roberson and not MPJ because of the "out" and "INJ" label when they are out for almost the same amount of time.......

I agree.
Hello, my question is how come Michael Porter Jr of the Denver Nuggets who the "yahoo blurb" says might be out for the entire season isnt listed as INJURED but only as OUT so therefore I can't put him into my IL "injured list spot"
and yes I'm sure MPJ isnt the only one as you have mentioned above
