New Power Rankings
I think our current power rankings stink. I have no idea what it means. I think it has something to do with projected future points, but your guess is as good as mine. And what does this ranking really tell us about being a manager? We should be ranking teams on the decisions that were made at the draft, on game day and all throughout the season? The standings and points scored only go so far, we can go deeper. We can see exactly how great teams were built and where other teams blew it. How lucky a team got, how injury effected another team and if managers are good team builders, but make poor decisions when it comes to who to start or draft poorly and somehow patch together a playoff contender.
For the last few seasons, I’ve been tinkering with a rating that does all that. I try to take all the decisions that go into your starting line-up and grade everyone on each of them. Items such as: draft, free agency, trades, cuts, points scored, points on bench, injury, optimal line-up and luck. I calculate how many points above or below average someone is in each category and convert it to winning percentage netted (I can go into further detailed upon request). Then I put these decisions in different buckets: Skill/Luck, GM/Coach and Draft/Free Agency/Trade. I average this rating with the teams’ actual win percentage and win% if they played everyone every week to come up with their “Kosmo Rating”. Now numbers guys who are all over fantasy sports, can see how they performed at a granular level. We can see where we need to improve, if the #1 seed is a paper tiger and which team we really want to avoid in the first round of the playoffs.I want Yahoo! to use it. I would love to see the historical profile of everyone in our league since our inception in 2004. Currently, I can just see final scores and can’t go back to see old line-ups with projected and actual points scored. I want something that separates Yahoo! from other sites and retains leagues. I made this easy to do on an excel spreadsheet. After adding the draft and team names, all I have to do is paste in the weekly line-ups. I would be excited to test it out on other leagues.

Lock bench players who have already played
Block any team owner from dropping a player that has played, regardless of whether they are in their active line up or on their bench. The owner in my match up did not set his lineup before the games started. After the Sunday night game when he saw that he had a chance to win if he had set his lineup correctly, he dropped two players from his bench that had already played on Sunday to add two players in the Monday night game. Now he stands a very good chance to get the win. Whereas, before he was going to lose.
Yahoo should make the change to lock all players that have already played regardless if the are in the active lineup or on the bench.

Allow draft pick trades for future years beyond just 1 year
Would like to be able to include draft picks in trades beyond just 1 year out from the current year. Would be way more realistic and awesome for keeper leagues.

OFFICIAL 2016 SMACK TALK PETITION
Not having smack talk for 2016 has been different. It certainly makes fantasy football players appreciate having smack talk as it is one of the best features of playing. We would like to see smack talk be brought back ASAP!

Link to players draft position
We have a Keeper league, in which the round the player was drafted in determines his upcoming keeper value. I'd like to be able to click on a player, a FA but more importantly, a player on someone's roster to determine the round that player was selected or whether he was Undrafted/FA. This would make it easier to determine accurate trade value.

For your defaul league create a flex position and drop the number of Wr's to 2 from 3.
Yahoo really needs to drop the 3rd WR position and make it a flex. Players would be free to utilize a WR, RB or TE for this role. This would bring the Yahoo experience close to the ESPN format which has been so popular over the years.

Better, more detailed league history.
I would love to be able to go back into my league's history and see individual player's point totals from every week, not just the overall matchup scores. I'm making a record book and have lost 5 season's worth of player's weekly scores. I can access standings, which helps but not how well each player did on a weekly basis.

Survival Fantasy football in year long leagues
Survival football league's should be built into season long leagues as an option like how league pick 'em is. It would be a side game the league can play along with the season long league and eliminates the need for a separate league.

Please add PPG to team page
Points per game is the most important stat in fantasy football and should on full display anywhere stats are visible. Would make trading players a little easier too.

Tool to block other managers
Have you ever been in a situation where another manager keeps sending you lopsided trade proposals in their favor over and over again (including the same ones) even after you reject them? Or a manager that keeps sending annoying emails through the league message system (even if you've already blocked your email address in the league)? Well if Yahoo would implement a software update (in all fantasy sports, not just football) that would allow managers to select which other managers not to receive trade offers or league messages from, it would instantly solve the problem and Yahoo would never even need to be contacted about it.

Roster minimums by position
PLEASE VOTE FOR THIS!!!!!!!!
In very deep leagues (16 teams like mine), quality players are hard to come by on waivers. Would like a rule requiring a configurable minimum of each position on the roster at once. This will prevent people from picking up a couple extra players and waiting until saturday to drop them for a Kicker, Defense, etc; the players dropped are now on waivers and unable to be picked up by anyone else.

Ability to modify number of votes to veto is ridiculous!
Why do we have to keep it at 1/3? Everyone in my league is pretty active (we take this league seriously) and almost no trades go through? Why? Because it only takes 1/3 of the league to veto trades!! Absolutely ridiculous. I really wish you could make it half the league....

Make the Weather Forcast feature clickable instead of hover-over
I like the weather forecast available on each player... but could you make the feature clickable instead of hover-over? It's a small thing but when passing over the feature it will activate and sometimes becomes annoying.

Our league loves the auction style draft. Is it possible next year to make it a blind auction?
Our league loves the auction style draft. Is it possible next year to make it a blind auction? It helps keep the less knowledgable people from watching who the top people bid on and try to outbid them. I would keep the running tally of team's budget and who they drafted.

Re-Arrange League Order
If you are in more than one league, you should have a feature to allow us to re-arrange the leagues in the order we want.

Live Draft Party
Yahoo does not have enough options to accommodate live drafts. Did a live draft this year and it worked out great but I had to use Clickydraft instead of yahoo. The options that made us choose Clickydraft are:
Read only URL of live draftboard. This allows anybody to stream the draftboard where they have a web browser. We were able to put the draftboard up on a 70in tv for everyone to see at draft party.
Extend draft pick timer and pause timer. While hosting a live draft party with 10 close friends and a lot of drinking, it would be nice to have the ability to adjust the pick timer (even mid-draft) and allow the commissioner to pause draft for when there are significant interruptions and shenanigans happening.
Allow for managers to either pick from their own devices or the commissioner can make their picks for them. This allows for if one or more people can't make it, to be able to combine the live draft and online draft.
I don't have any affiliation with Clickydraft but you should check them out for how to run a draft. This would greatly improve the whole draft process and make Yahoo unique.

Put a link back to the Yahoo! Fantasy site, ON THIS PAGE.
There's no link on this page, back to the main page fantasy league page I was just on. Just put a link back to main page instead of click throughs. It's like no one has updated this web site since 2003.

Make it Easier to get to teams from homepage
It would be a greater experience when using yahoo fantasy sports to have a easier way to view all fantasy teams. Along with having the ability to hide and un-hide teams that are not being actively managed.

Create Option to hide/un-hide fantasy sports team users no longer manage.
Some of yahoo fantasy sports users have multiple fantasy teams. It would be a great option to allow us to hide/UN-hide teams we no longer want to manage during the season.
As of right now we are forced to scroll through our teams. Even teams we are not actively involved with for what ever reason. Having the ability to hide teams that are not managed would an excellent tool for users that have multiple teams.
