MESSAGE BOARD
What happened to the image embedding on the message boards? This was a great feature that we used often and it seems to be missing. Is this coming back at some point?

Yahoo,
As many of these fine NFL aficionados have already pointed out, the ability to post images, GIFs and long messages using the RICH editor (meaning different fonts and font sizes) on the message board should be an essential feature of the Yahoo Fantasy Football experience because it adds enjoyment to what is really no more than an exercise in statistics. I am the Commissioner of a 12 person league comprised of some of the most funny, gifted and diabolical trash talkers on the planet. Removing image posting and smack talk has stifled our participation and enjoyment of this platform. Please bring these features back. Thank you.

This is taking too long to come back. Why would they take away one of the best features?

Yahoo eliminated this. Just like they eliminated smack talk, team slogans and team names still can't exceed a measly 20 characters. Anything to **** off the Yahoo users I guess. We are moving our 4 Yahoo leagues to a different site next year. One that has a much better draft interface (Yahoo's is simply horrendous), one that allows people to post pictures, gifs, have team names longer than 20 characters and and promotes smack talk. All Yahoo does is take the fun out of everything it does the last few years . Face it folks. Yahoo sucks and won't be getting any better. Time to move ahead and leave the aging dinosaur to become extinct. Rest in Peace, Yahoo.

This is very disappointing. The interaction on messenger using pictures and GIFs is most of the fun of our league. Unless it comes back it probably our last year on Yahoo.

I won't be on Yahoo next year. Ridiculous.

I use to post our League "Constitution" AKA Rule Book in picture format in a league rules thread that everyone could click on where there was something controversial or just a question.
Now I have to upload it to Imgur and just post a link in that thread. Much Lamer IMO.
Also, the message board sucks with just typing. I would have good spacing and everything to try to draw people's eyes around and make it easier to read.
Then I hit enter and it will become a GIANT JUMBLED BLOCK. No one has patience to read something like that. But if you break it down into 10 short lines, people generally will.

Whether I'm on my phone or my work or home PC, I always need to resort to Basic Message Posting on my Message Boards. If you review my history, I began a newsletter this way, and at first attempted to stylize it with text of different sizes, fonts, and of course bold/italics/underlines. I no longer can successfully add pictures, links, animated gifs, and even stylized text is super difficult because nothing takes hold and I get frustrated and end up going back to Plain Text. It reflects on my efforts as a Commissioner. Is it me? My devices? My league? I've resorted to changing the format altogether and have started a PodCast, but I would return to writing if I could do it effectively. Last season, I broke 10,000 words altogether.

Personally, I really don't care about posting images. Starting week three I can't even post a **** write up on the message board about the current weeks activities. First three weeks worked fine, but now every league write up I try to post never goes thru. I mean wtf?
I've been toying with the idea of moving my league to either espn or the nfl web sites. This may be the final straw. Not to mention my years long gripe about yahoo's suck *** tiebreaker system has yet to be addressed. Pathetic.

I'm really disappointed this feature has been taken away. It was fun to insert pics in message board posts! This seems like a pretty basic thing to have in 2017. Bring it back, please!

Just wanted to agree with all that has been said here. Fantasy football is all about trash talking your friends and family. Pics/memes enhance this experience immensely. Without this the Yahoo FF site is quite bland. It's difficult to express how much the lack of this feature diminishes the FF experience on what has always been the premiere FF hosting site. To continue to exist as the premier FF site, please address this concern shared by many.

Intentionally removing one of your most popular features that was working just fine.......great plan Yahoo you pack of ******* donkeys!
What are your big plans for next year? No more auction drafts? Getting rid of the waiver wire? removing team slogans? (oh wait, you idiots already did that one)
Pathetic! You might as well be posting ads for better fantasy hosts right on your site.

The message board is the lifeline of fantasy football. Some of us don't even care about the actual competition of the league as much as we do about the message board. It's the culture, the community, and the main form of communication that binds these leagues together. Losing functionality, while pushing the messenger tool clearly shows that Yahoo is forgetting about who their audience and users are, and focusing more on trying to adapt to a mobile environment. But you have to remember that leagues have been around for decades using the Yahoo as the elite platform, and the message board is the core of what keeps the league together. If we wanted a messenger service, we'd rather all just get on a group text thread.

The message board is where the majority of our interaction happens and it's essential to the league. Without it, Yahoo goes to the bottom of fantasy options. The messaging tool is not as flexible as the boards are.

NOBODY WANTS A MESSENGER SERVICE
We all have phones or wifi we can message people just fine already. Stop messing with the good parts that work. You're going to lose tons of people and you won't be able to force them to look at your stupid Toyota and daily fantasy ads. -

This is so stupid. Why take away features? I know you are pushing your Messenger but it's a completely different tool. Our league writes big long funny write ups weekly and this ruins that for our league. STOP DI CKING US AROUND YOU F CUKS.

Agreed....That sure was dumb? Embedding images/GIFs is half the fun.
Please bring it back pronto, or we'll find better options!
