the auto generated schedule should have you play division opponents twice for everyone
We play in a 10 team league, 2 divisions with playoffs from weeks 14-16. That leaves 13 season games. Why is it so hard for the schedule to generate everyone playing their division opponents twice and the teams from the other division once. It works out perfectly. It's just idiotic that I have to spend 3-4 hours redoing the schedule just because yahoo can't auto generate one that makes sense

Yes, there needs to be an easy way to ensure that, if using division play, you can easily set the schedule to play division opponents once or twice, and randomize the rest.

I'll add to this... it would be great if each possible team number/division number combination had balanced preset options similar to Tyler's 10-team 2-division suggestion. I went from a 10-team, 2-division league to a 12-team, no divisions league this year and spent hours and used several sheets of notebook paper to figure out the fairest way to schedule the dang thing.
I know I personally can get nitpicky about seemingly little things like this, but it can be a big deal for a team to, say, play an injury-riddled team 3 times and to completely avoid a stacked team if a commissioner didn't think to check before the season began. There's no way to know which team is which ahead of time, but if the default schedule didn't automatically create such inexplicable imbalances, it would save time for the commissioners who check and make the game fairer for players with commissioners who don't.

Agree 100%, this should be automatic, disappointing that yahoo doesn't set this up automatically...
