I do it to create pivot tables that are useful to quickly assess who is rich at which position yet weak at another and plan trades accordingly.
As Commissioner I set this up and email to the league.
I have them listed a by team (so it looks similar to what you show on team, but you can see all at the same time), By position ( you can see each managers total pts scored, # they have of that position and avg per player) and points at position by team...
i say all that because it helps very quickly to assess which manager to target for trades. Its easy to manuplate once i get data but all that cutting and pasting and then cropping out of columns/rows is a bit of work. Just allow us to take the data that you present to us (ie when we look at our team or players list) and bring it into a csv or xlsx file would be clutch, save time and give us more reason to boast about yahoo fantasy football!

This would be a huge addition, especially for leagues that have customized scoring. I've been trending player scoring to monitor things like per receptions from creating an unfair advantage (e.g. top 25 RBs trended up on rpg comparing 2016 to 2017, 2.6 up to 3.0 while top 25 WRs trended down from 5.5 to 5.1).

I would love this. I do this myself, and it's very cumbersome. Example: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1VD7PO6srkfHVc5rBG4CYyd3u9ruBbx8zps1j7Xp88CI/edit?usp=sharing

I would like this. I like to run my own numbers in excel.

Yes please! This would be great. Especially if you could get previous years data as well!
