Offer another scoring format
I was wondering why ESPN doesn't provide the choice to use VP (Virtual Points) scoring. The H2H format is great for competing against someone, but you get no credit for scoring the 2nd most points, as you take the loss on your record. Points is where it's at, but points eliminates the competitive aspect of defeating someone weekly. VP scoring combines the best of both worlds, as you get a chance to defeat your opponent, AND you get credit for scoring within the top 4 of the league. Even if you lose, but have a very high score, you can get credit for having a great week. It's the fairest way of scoring and the best way of truly determining who had the best season in the end. I'm surprised a fantasy sports "Giant" in ESPN hasn't displayed much innovation over the past few years. I've been a member/participant of ESPN as a Commish and an owner for quite some time now. Change is good; separate yourself from the rest of the competition.
