Allow Football team managers pick a bench player on their roster for each position that automatically gets subbed into the lineup if injury
Allow Football team managers pick a bench player on their roster for each position that automatically gets subbed into the lineup if the starter gets injured during his real game....so that position can still accumulate points! i.e. QB Aaron Rogers gets injured, then my backup QB gets inserted into my fantasy lineup so i can still get points for that position

Hey! Long time fantasy player here. I think you should have some sort of "save" for if a player gets hurt early on in the game. Maybe like two a season. If a player gets hurt on the first drive or maybe even the first quarter; you should have the ability to replace that player with someone else. Maybe not from the same game, but another later game or a game the next day. Thanks!
I like it. Use bench order to auto replace injured player. Removes bad luck from the equation. Forces manager to plan for backup. Closer to real game management
A lot of us cannot check the injury status right before the games begin. So, if a player is ruled OUT at the last minute before a game, Yahoo should substitute from the bench automatically on behalf of the team owner who can't be on the internet.

If the player is in the starting lineup and doesn't start because of injury that's the managers fault no subbing.
If the player is in the starting lineup and gets injured and is out for the rest of the game then you should be able to sub him with a BENCH player only.
Injuries are part of the game and just like the NFL they get subbed for.
We need this to happen!!!!

Great idea. Should break scoring down by quarters to simplify implementation. Manager's should have to specify who would get subbed.

I think this would be an excellent Idea. Had at least 2 games this year that situation applied..lost both games and One was a playoff game when AB was injured. Would actually bring the bench into play a little bit. Shouldn't be that hard to implement. I don't know about everyone but I try to keep my bench with players that are not starters per say but would indeed fill in if needed...Just like the Real Game.

injuries are part of the game. this is not gonna happen and it should not happen

I think it should be an auto sub because life happens and sometimes you cant get on or lose track of time and the games are about to start. I dont have a problem with also because yahoos servers go down at the absolute worst times so this couod help remedy that

I've suggested this idea, every year, for the past nine years. No one else seems to get it?
That's life in fantasy

Allow substitution if fantasy starter gets injured in his game....

Fantasy Football leagues should have an option where an injured played can be substuted with a player on the bench, or free agency before the first quarter is over.
Meaning if a player gets injured within the 1st Quarter, team should have the power to substitute a player with same position player injured.
Only before 1st Quarter. Anything after 1st Quarter, injured player cannot be substituted.
Or instead of substitution, can allow the projected points, but only before 1st Quarter.
Like many people, hate when a player is injured at first start of game, and now does not get points projected to receive.
