I believe a suspended player should be treated like an IR player, an extra roster spot should be afforded to theteam that has that player

Suspended players (K.Hunt), holdouts (M.Gordon) should be eligible for IR as in previous years (Edelman, L.Bell). Why has it changed?

Um, no. Teams don't get to fill the suspended players slot in real life, so neither should we.

I would agree that this could be an "option" for the commissioner to enable but it shouldn't necessarily be allowed as a default...or if it is...it should have an option to disable. I'm always in favor of adding options that can be enabled/disabled and/or modified.

I don't think this should even be an option to be considered. Anyone choosing to hold on to a suspended player should treat the situation as if that player is on a "bye" during the length of the suspension.

No please don't do this unless it is an opt-in option. Holding a suspended player should take a roster spot.
