Cut the consolation bracket out of Pro Leagues. All teams that don't make the playoffs should be locked so they don't ruin the playoffs.
Cut the consolation bracket out of Pro Leagues. All teams that don't make the playoffs should be locked so they don't ruin the playoffs. Every year the same thing happens. Some idiot that didn't make the playoffs decides to drop all the droppable players from his roster. Not playing on this site until that gets fixed.

Yahoo responded to feedback with a statement that is not true. It doesn't work that way for cash leagues. It works that way for free leagues. There is a big difference between the types of leagues.
Yahoo Response is below.

The “Lock Eliminated Team” setting locks teams eliminated from both consolation and championship brackets. To lock teams that are not in the championship bracket, the commissioner will need to use the commissioner tools (Commissioner >> Manage Other Teams >> Lock Teams).
That statement is 100% not true. What the administrator describe does not allow commissioners to do in cash leagues.
As for contacting customer service. Its a joke.
It’s extremely difficult to get in contact with customer service. When attempting to contact customer service about private cash leagues for fantasy football.
When attempting to chat online with customer services during chat hours (Chat hours are 6:00 AM PST - 6:00 PM PST, 7 days a week.)

When emailing customer service. Customers don’t reply or it takes days for a response. Then when, customer service responds, the issue isn't resolved. This forces us to reply. This then takes several more days for a reply. What’s the purpose of customer service if issues can’t be resolve in a respectable time frame?
Eliminated players participating in the consolation bracket should not be able to make waiver claims or add/drop players. The ONLY players who should be allowed to make waiver claims or add/drop players are the players who are still in contention to win the championship. That is, after all, WHY WE PLAY THE GAME! When players is eliminated, then makes waiver claims or add/drop players ... it's at best, poor sportsmanship and at worst it's cheating and possible collusion.
