Playoffs - Edit matchups for every round.
This feature would allow commissioners to edit the matchups for every round of the playoffs. Currently, only the first round of the playoffs can be changed.

My LORD! People have been screaming for this change since 2016 on this thread and Yahoo hasn't done a thing? WTF is wrong with Yahoo? This is an easy fix for them. A-holes.

In our league the 1 & 2 seeds have week 15 byes while 3 plays 6 and 4 plays 5. Our rules allow the #1 seed to select his opponent from the winners in week 15. It's the big benefit of having "won" the regular season.
But stupid yahoo only allows you to edit the seedings before the playoff starts and freezes everything once it does. Probably the dumbest thing Yahoo has ever done. Commish needs to be able to edit matchups for EVERY round in private leagues. Jeez, how stupid is yahoo?

Once again we are PLEADING for you all to get this done. It’s not a hard fix and it is something that makes things 10x easier for commissioners. Don’t let yet another season go by without getting this done.

I am strongly in support of this and want it implemented next year. This is a huge miss by Yahoo and may make us move off of Yahoo this year.

My League also wants to reseed the consolation bracket. We use it to determine first overall pick next year. Right now we have to manually keep track of it and its quite annoying.

Allow the commissioner to change the weekly matchups during the playoff. Why is this locked? Allowing the commissioner to reseed or update matchups in the playoffs would allow us to customize without asking Yahoo for extra options or looking at other platforms.
For the post-season to keep everyone playing, we have a toilet bowl where the loser moves on in the bottom bracket. Yahoo automatically moves the winner forward. We also allow the top seed still in the playoffs on top or the toilet bowl on the bottom to choose their opponent. With reseeding or updating weekly matchups, the commissioner can update for the correct matchup.

For example: 10 team league, two 5 team divisions. Top three from each division move on (instead of the default top 6 overall) to playoffs and the best remaining team from each division play in the finals. What's the point of divisions if the top 6 are picked in the end anyway?

In order to ignite rivalries, our league would like for the higher-ranked seed to be able to choose their opponent. But Yahoo's extremely limited customizability makes this impossible (along many other fun playoff ideas).
Seems like a simple fix to give the commish the power to change the matchups. Let's get it done.

Two week playoff for the championship should be an option! The fact there is little customizable settings for the playoffs offered by Yahoo is sad. It would be good to customize how many teams (including odd number teams) make the playoffs, and also the number of weeks per matchup would be a good custom option too. For those that have a 4 team playoff, that want to have a one week semifinal match but a two week championship, this should be an option.

There needs to be another playoff schedule for 2 division, 8 team, 3 week playoffs leauges! I have multiple friends and myself that run this and we have to manipulate points to get the schedule right. 1st week of playoffs should be top 4 from each division play according to there seeding (1 plays 8 etc) within there divison, week 2 of playoffs should be the last 2 teams from each division playing each other, and week 3 should be 1 team from each division for the championship!

a must as it allows the commissioner to use alternate methods of seeding and tie breakers that are not available in the yahoo format.

CBS sportsline has ability to customize playoffs to basically whatever you want. I switched to Yahoo for this year but looks like I'm going back to CBS because of this unless Yahoo puts this functionality in. It is really basic, not sure why it's not here.

Our league would like to adopt a different playoff schedule since there is the additional week this year. Basically, in our 12 team league, we'd like to have week 14 be a battle between the 7th vs 10th and the 8th vs 9th. Then the lowest seed would battle the 1 seed and so on for weeks 15 and 16, with the championship happening in week 17. Is this possible. Very similar to the real NBA playoffs this past season.

More customization would be great too. Now that there is an 18 week NFL season, I talked to my commish about doing a 14 week regular season, weeks 15&16 for the semifinals, and weeks 17&18 for the finals. He tells me this isn't an option. Leagues should be able to set the playoffs however they want, not fit into a box that yahoo has pre-designated. We have a faction in our league that wants us to move to ESPN for reasons like this.

My league uses the NFL tie-breaker procedures to determine playoff seeds. I normally have to go back and edit previous weeks' game scores and add 200 points to adjust a teams season point total to force a higher seeding. It would be great if the commissioner could manual change playoff seeding.
