Schedule/Scoring Formats - 'All Play'
In this format, every team in the league plays every other team each week. For example, in a 10 team league, a team will play the other 9 teams every week and earn a total of 9 wins and/or losses. Currently, this is not an option for commissioners.

A points league is different and rewards different things. An all-play league is going to reward a team that’s consistently good week-to-week.

I have posted this idea as well for the past 3 years, time to catch up with how fantasy is played on other websites!
I have been a commissioner for 12 years and have my own website.
Everyone in fantasy would like to see a hybrid league.
OR allow you to reward additional wins for H2H and Points Scored combined league.(Commish tool)Example would be:
Rewarding 1 win for H2H
Rewarding 1 win for top half highest points scored.Yahoo doesn't even have a tool to put manually place a team in the playoffs based on: highest scoring non playoff team.

Yes I want it too. Considered moving home league to different site if we cant have this option next year. Come on yahoo.

Rotisserie scoring is where you play everyone in your league every week. Like highest scoring would be 9-0 and last would be 0-9 in a ten person league. I have had a brutal year where iv scored the second most but have had the most scored against me.

Technically, this is the best indicator of who truly has the best team in the league. I NEED this stat to come back as this stat determines a significant payout in my league!

Been asking Yahoo for this for years. They refuse to budge. Give private leagues this option please. One time, such a thread like this got so big, it was always at the top but Yahoo just removed it. Jerks.

Bring back the "if you played everyone each week" stat in the weekly recaps. They were a good way to judge how well your team is doing and better than most stats in the "StatSmack"

I loved this feature, much better measure of team quality than the head to head standings anyway.

Will Yahoo have a scheduling option for weekly round robin where each team play each other?
For example, in a 10-team league, each team will have nine individual head-to-head matchups and compile a weekly record (ex: 7-2, 4-5, etc...).
Our league always has a problem where high scoring teams take a h2h loss with an unlucky matchup...and conversely...low scoring teams end up with a win due to a good matchup. For instance, a team could score 110 points (2nd highest weekly score) and lose against a team scoring 115, while a team that scores 65 points (2nd lowest weekly) beats a team that scores 63.
Ultimately, by season's end, we have teams with 1,200 points that are 4-9 and teams that have 900 points that are 9-4 just by the luck of the draw.
I know other sites offer this option, just wondering if Yahoo will be adding it....?

This format (commonly referred to as the All Play format) is absolutely coming to the forefront of the fantasy football world and I'd love if Yahoo could incorporate it asap so I don't have to go elsewhere because there's no fairer way to decide a champion.

We moved to an All Play format years ago but this is something that has to be tracked manually. We have found this to be the most competitive way to run a league and truly end up with the best teams going to the playoffs. Can we please make this a league option for next season?

Allow for All Play to be an option where top half of teams scoring that week get a Win. As well as hybrid All Play where 2 Wins/Lossed are awarded each week. Matchup as well as top half scores.

Just do a Points league if that's what you want.

Provide an additional head-to-head option where you play against each time in the league, if you have lowest score you would be 0-9 that week, best score 9-0, etc.

I believe you are referring to the info that is in the weekly team report card when you are talking about the all play record. That data is provided by a 3rd party package and is used for the report card only, it does not feed data back into the game.

Enable "All Play Record" as a wild card determiner. You already track a teams 'all play record' and report it, at least on a single week basis. My league has voted that this is our preferred metric for establishing wild card births into the playoffs. At the moment, as commissioner, I track that independently and will use the alter playoff seeding manually if needed this year, but it would be terrific to have this automated and reported as part of the league standings.

n Yahoo's review of each week's game, Yahoo reports "If this team had played every team each week, its record would be ..."
That's interesting to read.
It would also be fun to play.
Just move it from the weekly review to the league's standings.
Then sit back and think about how much CPU and data storage is saved by not having to generate and store a league schedule for every league.
