Dynasty/Keepers - Leave league open to allow trading, adds, and drops during the offseason.
This would allow managers to make all league transactions within the platform, including adds, drops, and trades, throughout the year.

I would like to sugest some better support for dynasty type fantasy football league's.
Add devolpnental player roster spots.
Add the spots but make the spots only elgible to Rookies and second year players.
That way it would limit how long you could hold onto a player before ativating them to the active roster.
Those spots should be regulated almost like challenges. Start out with 2 with the ability to earn a 3rd. If a player has 2 developmental players rostered the entire year the next year they can earn a third, but if a situation came up when you had to activate the developmental player to the active roster you would be limited to 1 slot the next year.
That would curtail people stashing and activating players with malicious intent. -

I would love to see a dynasty league on Yahoo. Features including trading future draft picks, not same amount of draft picks involved in trades, open year round, rookie drafts. I know I would pay a reasonable premium for this service. Please take this under consideration.

Bring back dynasty leagues for fantasy football

Please do this right away... no reason why this info isn't included

Preseason - one of the things that a lot of Fantasy Football players like to do is see how players performed each week, and their point totals of the previous season. ESPN does this currently. If you click on a players info bubble it will populate with their point totals, yards, TD's, etc from last season. Yahoo only shows projections for the upcoming season.

Yahoo: look at myfantasyleague.com.
Now, change everything you have structurally to what they have, keeping your GUI (or whatever). Couple the look you have and live scoring with a REAL fantasy league structure, and you could easily charge money. Even at $5 a league, you'd net a fortune...

By the sounds of it, folks in this thread are in complete disbelief that a feature they want does not exist. Words like "dumb" and "suck" and "clueless" and "blows" and "stupid" clearly demonstrate how serious they are. At some point someone will call Yahoo a big fat poo-poo-head and simultaneously the universe might collapse. Please, Yahoo, implement this feature before that happens. Granted our universe has its problems, but it's our universe and, as of 2016, our only universe. Thanks!

its really ridiculous that we have to petition for something that should be automatically included on the site. You know what? Yahoo can go FI. Cheap bastids.

gotta love the way Yahoo NEVER adopts anyone's great suggestions. They just leave them up here to rot.
Yahoo blows.

Why won't Yahoo do this? WTF? How stupid of them.

Face it. Yahoo sucks. There is no legitimate reason why private Keeper or Dynasty leagues should not be able to use Yahoo to conduct off season trades and allow roster modifications.
This ridiculously stupid message that we can't adjust rosters or make trades because "the league has not yet drafted" makes it quite clear that Yahoo staff are clueless. It's like Yahoo hires only challenged chimpanzees to manage its fantasy sites.
Of course, the primo chimp of all is the yahoo staff member who continually attacks legitimate suggestions under the anonymous alias. It's always the same guy, by the way. You can tell from his snarky, arrogant responses. What a an a-hole!

Why can't my keeper league do trades right now?
It says we can't trade because we haven't drafted yet!!!!
If that is not the most ******** thing I have ever seen! Of course we haven't drafted yet... It's the off-season and we are a keeper/dynasty league so our rosters carry over and trades are made.
Must I really keep track of all off season trading on a spreadsheet separate from the league page. My God! How archaic Yahoo is. Really stupid.
Hey Yahoo: GFY because you royally suck.
-
Humongous Organ commented
I see Yahoo has changed nothing.
Still can't trade keepers in the off season. Have to do all that on a spread sheet.WTF is wrong with Yahoo anyway? They run this site like it is 1995.
Fer Christ's sake, Yahoo... act like its 2016. Your FF is absolutely prehistoric. Keeper and Dynasty leagues are better off going elsewhere.
-
Leo commented
Absolutely! Dynasty/Keeper leagues are the future of FF, rapidly becoming more popular. That includes deep IDP dynasties which need a max roster of 40. If you do nothing else, please let us play 40. Voting right now in my two Yahoo dynasties to move to MFL. We have history here, don't really want to move. But without some dynasty friendly changes, we must.

Jacob, Yahoo doesn't care what anybody here wants. They have no regard for improving the site or making its surprisingly loyal users happy.
All they ever do is send us this "anonymous" guy to shoot down every single wise suggestion.
Yahoo is one of the most arrogant companies (and for no valid reason considering most of Yahoo's services are inferior to those of other providers). Good luck ever getting them to actually listen and respond to its users.
This thread being here now and #1 for nearly 2 years proves that.
Everybody al at oncenow.... "YAHOO SUCKS!!!!!!!!"
This message brought to you by Big ****.

Does Yahoo not realize that if they opened up the dynasty and keeper leagues to year around availability that they would get more clicks because people would be coming here to view their teams, make trades, etc?

Also, It has been #1 ranked for 1.5 years. Where is some action?

Funny how my original post on this thread regarding keeper leagues, and the ability to trade and make actions from championship week and the draft was posted on June 14, 2014. Still gathering feedback Yahoo!? C'mon. Since then my original posts seem to have been hidden/expired and the topic heading changed... because it's been so long I'll assume. Hahaha! It still needs to be addressed years later, as other sites are moving forward. Yahoo! remains trailing the pack of other sites whom have already adopted year-round keeper abilities multiple years ago.

Great idea but it shouldn't have to cost more, it should be free.
