Playoffs - Customizable consolation bracket.

This feature will allow commissioners to do the following;
- Turn the consolation bracket on or off
- Change the number of teams the league has in the consolation bracket
- Customize the seeding and teams in the consolation bracket.

Currently, the consolation bracket is only available for 4 and 6 team playoff format, it is not able to be turned on and off, and does not allow for the commissioner to change the number of teams in the consolation bracket or customize the teams/seeding.

    Please update Playoffs - Customizable consolation bracket. Allow Consolation brackets to be turn off and on. Teams eliminated from playoffs should not be allowed to add and drop players in prize leagues.

    Every year i have to contact yahoo to lock eliminated teams. leagues should not have to contact yahoo for this purpose.

    Currently:

    - 12 team leagues get 6 or 8 teams in the playoffs, and the rest in a consolation bracket.
    - 14 team leagues can have 6 in the playoffs, but only a 6 person consolation (2 teams just miss out)
    - 14 team leagues can have 8 in the playoffs and no consolation at all.

    The ability to set how big the consolation bracket is would allow for playoffs, and a consolation championship to keep all players engaged, and allow of an overall last-place position.

    in a 14 team league, 8 make playoffs. We'd love to have a consolation bracket for the 6 non-playoff teams so they can fight for the 1st pick in the draft the following year. Keep them engaged and make the league more competitive! Cheers..

    I run a 10 team PPR league with 4 playoff teams. We wanted all six other teams to make the consolation bracket but now only four can. Its 2021 and we can't customize our leagues more effectively?

    in a 12 man team fantasy football league please have the top 8 for the championship playoffs and then allow the bottom 4 teams to play in a consolation playoffs.

    16 team league 8 make playoffs, the other bottom 8 definitely need to have a consultation playoff option, how are we to figure out who gets last place trophy with these setting! It’s 2021 yahoo, how is this not and option no matter how many playoff teams. Why would you have the option for 4-6 team playoffs but not anymore. Maybe time to find a platform that allows more control options over league. Yahoo dictatorship

    How you gonna not allow a consolation bracket for a league with an 8 team playoff?

    My league is 16 teams, and our playoff is 8 teams.

    It would be perfect to have the other 8 teams go into a consolation bracket, and it's especially important for my league because that is how we determine last place who is rewarded with a "fun" punishment.

    I have had the same thought for a long time. 10 team, long running keeper league. We just voted to add the 9 and 10 seeds to our consolation bracket and then compete for next year's 1st overall pick. We have the top 4 make the regular playoff and we had the 5-8 seeds only for the consolation in years past. Yahoo does not allow customization of any kind on this and it is very frustrating since it couldn't take their tech people much longer than a few hours to add a couple features in.

    I run a 12 team league where 8 make the playoffs. Why is it that the bottom 4 teams' season ends, with no choice to play out a consolation? In keeper leagues, a lot of consolation rounds decide the following years draft order....This needs to be updated.

    In a 16 team league, I would like to have the option of the top 8 making the playoffs, and the bottom 8 competing in a consolation. I know that yahoo has never allowed this, but I don't understand why.

    There is action to be had in consolation brackets. Just give us the flexibility to use it.

    At the bare minimum the consolation for a 10 team six playoff bracket league needs to be fixed. The four consolation teams not in the championship bracket should not all be on byes the first week of the playoffs. This is just dumb. They should play out their consolation bracket week 1 and 2 of the playoffs, and that third week of the fantasy playoffs should be reserved for those teams that earned it, the teams playing for third and fourth, and the championship.

    Yahoo please get it together. Teams in cash league that is eliminated from the playoffs should not be allowed to make transactions if the commissioner doesn't want to allow it. Those teams have no chance to win a cash prize. Its not hard to figure that out.

    Allow commissioners of cash leagues the ability to lock eliminated teams from the playoffs.
    Some commissioners have integrity and want to minimize poor sportsmanship.

    There is an option to lock eliminated teams but that option doesn't work in cash leagues. What's the purpose of giving that option if it will not work

    This makes a lot of sense. Especially if Yahoo is trying to make league history and fantasy profiles the selling point of Yahoo versus other platforms.

    I would love to have this because the consolation bracket is just for fun but if you finish last in the regular season, you are the real loser. These games mean nothing in my league.

    Some leagues use the consolation bracket simply for draft picks and give the worse teams the bye. So it doesn't make sense to have the good teams play in the 11th round game if the bracket is changed. It should be up to the commissioner to decide if they want the consolation bracket or regular season standings for consolation teams to count as the final standings.

    Add that feature before the season ends if possible.
