Rosters/Lineups - Roster limits for positions.
This feature would allow commissioners to set the maximum and minimum number of players a team can roster at each position at a given time. For example, teams can have a maximum of 3 QBs on their roster or a team can have a minimum of 1 kicker. Currently there is no way to set the maximum or minimum number of players a team can roster at each position.

If Yahoo implements this rule
and a commish changes to the rule after the draft,
will I be allowed to drop the league?
If not, then please don't allow this rule. -

I don't want to be in a league using this rule idea. During the draft, I want to have roster space to draft a promising QB who might become a starter during the season -- like Daniel Jones or Tannehill -- in addition to my QB sub.
If Yahoo makes this idea an optional rule, then I want Yahoo to prevent a league's commish from adding the rule after the draft. -

Back up RBs are really really really valuable. I want to be able to keep a couple of them onhand. This rule sounds like you would be preventing me from using this wise choice. Why would you want to keep me from making a wise choice?

Agreed. I run a 16 team league. I would like to limit teams to two QBs unless they can stash on the IR and Two team defenses.

PLEASE! My league is 2 QB with 12 people. Need a limit of 3 QBs per roster. I have had to enforce this rule myself and have nearly gotten into 2 fights over it!

My league is a 12 team league with 2 QBs. On weeks when there are byes, some teams are not able to get their hands on a QB becuase other teams are holding 4 of them. ESPN allowed me to put a cap on the number of roster spots available for QBs at 3. There is no such ability for a commissioner on Yahoo's site. This alone will force me to change back to Yahoo as I have had to manually enforce this rule with a huge amount of pushback. I need Yahoo to enable this setting.

Please let the Commissioners for Survivor football edit picks for the players or let them go back to update a pick. Our league has had several issues over the years where picks don't save or they can't update on Sunday morning. If the player can get an update to the commissioner about what they intended to do, the commissioner should be able to decide if they want to make a manual update.

This is very helpful for a 2QB league. We want to limit each team to 4 QB's. It would be 3, but we want to give the flexibility for teams to add a rookie who could win the starting job.

I could swear this was a feature in the past that is now gone. Regardless, it's an important feature when you want to run a 2qb league with 8 or 10. You don't want several people to draft 4 qbs and then in bye weeks there are no qbs left to pick up for the guy who only drafted 2. If you impose a 3qb limit in a 10 team league, this should nearly eliminate the ability for someone to game the system this way.
Also, more context on running a 2qb league... playing with so few people (8 or 10) makes the single QB league's QBs have almost no value, but adding a 2nd qb makes it really important. You might actually see someone trade a QB for a RB for instance.

In the rosters of the commissioners, there should be another category for the amount of offense and defense players you're suppose to have. Say the most you can have is max limit 15 off. and 15 def. So nobody can get away with having more than the other.

Would like for there to be a way to limit the amount of players per position to be rostered by a manager. In a 2 QB league especially it would be helpful to limit it to 3 or 4 to prevent guys from stacking their rosters with QBs.

I don't want in a league with this rule.
It would force teams to have very few bench players.
Then when an injuries occur, whomever is awake at the time
pulls in the best replacement player.
Why not have better scoring rules?
If Ks and DEFs were given more points,
then teams would have less reason to hoard QBs and RBs. -

Players should be able to set the "shape" of their lineup when they have to autodraft. For example, I want to draft 2 QBs, 3 RBs, 5 WRs, etc.
I was unable to participate in my league's live draft this year, but entered an extensive list of player rankings. I ended up with an A+ draft on paper, but it had a backup kicker and IDPs, and only 2 RBs and 3 WRs. As you might guess, that didn't work out so well.
It seems for players who have to autodraft, it should be possible to indicate the maximum number of players to be drafted at each position to avoid this problem.

CBS, ESPN, and others have this option. Please add option to limit the number of players a team can roster per position. Stop the RB hording!
