Drafts - Custom mock drafts/Mock drafts to match league settings
These new mock drafts would allow you to customize the settings for a mock draft or have set the mock draft to match one of your league's settings. Currently we only offer the default settings for mock drafts.

I have to go to ESPN to do my PPR drafts. I disagree with Pat Kilts. Players knowing at the outset it is PPR format will fundamentally change their draft strategy (if they know what they're doing). Mock draft grades will also be more accurate because it takes into consideration the draft format.

Why dont you just draft as if it ACTUALLY IS a PPR draft. Problem solved. Results wont be vastly difference between the 2 forms anyway.

Agree - Yahoo needs PPR mock drafts. Another year I will do all my mocks at Fantasy Pros.

A mock draft for ppr leagues.

There are people drafting for standard leagues, PPR leagues and 2 QB leagues. All of which require VERY different draft strategies. Now you jam them all in the same mock draft and the pick order gets very out of wack and becomes extremely unrealistic to what we'll see in our respective leagues.

Example: Antonio Brown is projected this year at 359.84 points in 16 games with my league settings. When I save changes at mock draft start to my league settings he's projected at 258.68 points AND it doesn't matter IF I DON'T change to my league settings at start of mock he's STILL projected during draft at 258.68 points. Makes no sense whatsoever and it's NO HELP whatsoever Yahoo. Please fix?!

Make options for Mock Drafts to match the leagues. This way we can get a better idea of when certain players are being picked in leagues with our position / scoring settings.

Since Yahoo offers 2 QB PPR leagues, I think it would be a great idea to offer mock drafts in this format as well. Other sources I've used just seem slightly unrealistic. Why offer a format if there is no sample mock drafts? It just makes it harder to properly prepare.

Even though I select my custom league settings and save changes prior to mock draft the projected scoring for each player doesnt match my league during mock draft. So I'm drafting in the wrong order. So I have no confidence that it'll match during real online draft which forces me to pre-rank players which counters the new feature you guys are touting.

None of my leagues run 3 wide receivers. They're all 2 RB 2 WR and one flex RB/WR. I'd love to be able practice my draft strategy for it, but I can't. Whyyyyyy?????

**** Yahoo. They literally screwed me over today. Lost by 2.7 all because I started Blount instead of Melvin Gordon when Yahoo said Melvin Gordon was out today and was projected for 0.00 pts. I had Gordon in there all wk and up to the last minute at 11:59am I changed to Blount cause of yahoo. ********. Wouldve won if it was for yahoos false reports.

1) add Options to the mock draft like IDP, PPR, Position Lineups
2) Fix the Y! rankings so that they adapt to the scoring format selected.
3) Set Auto Draft Picks by Position!! -

I would love to see this come to fruition! Our team loves the defense being such a crucial part of a teams success.
PLEASE add this -

I believe you are asking for the wrong change. The mock draft app is just a generality and not custom to each leagues custom rules. As far as real "competative" drafts, they cannot be different from the mock draft simulator, and take into account hundreds of thousands of auto-pick leagues. If you eliminated filling the starting positions first before moving to the bench players, you could pick 3 bench QB's in a row, as it picks the highest ranked player available. Hence, your suggestion it messes with the algorithm to pick players for you, though it does bring to light a change that is viable
What Yahoo! needs to do is offer what other sites have. That is a preference to what position you would like to draft in each round. It lists each round with a drop-down menu of positions you prefer to draft in this round. I believe some even have secondary position preferences. It picks your highes ranked of that position in each round that you suggest it to. In this option, you can tell your auto-pick that you do not want a Defense or Kicker until the final 2 rounds, and it will draft he best available in that round only. It also allows you to pick each other round. If you want 3 RB's in RD1-3, and not a QB until RD6 (but no later) you can make those preferences and it will auto pick it for you. Along with your pre-draft rankings, it can customize deeper into auto-picking a team you have more control choosing!
Other sites are miles ahead of Yahoo! auto-pick options and pre-draft rankings regarding applying to the draft itself, and mock drafts.
That is the suggestion that we are looking for people! Vote and suggest on a more specific and viable thread here:
