Injury Designations - Commissioner can customize IR eligible injury designations
This setting would give the commissioner the power to change what injury designations are eligible for IR. For example, the commissioner could elect to only allow players with the IR designation into IR roster slots. They could also allow players with D (doubtful) to be IR eligible.
Commissioners would be able to toggle the following designations as IR eligible;
P - Probable
Q - Questionable
D - Doubtful
O - Out
IR - Injured reserve
SUSP - Suspended
NA - Not active
COVID-19 - COVID-19
Currently commissioners can't toggle what designations are IR eligible. O (out), COVID-19 and IR (injured reserve) are the only designations that are IR eligible.

Please change the status of the Tennessee and Steelers to IR. I opened 2 IR roster spots in case players are affected by the Corona Virus. That will allow managers to replace that player with somebody else that week

I have to cut players because of covid

This needs to be done today. This is ruining rosters. Either a league didn't prepare and the COVID-19 IR designation won't affect it negatively. Or the league prepared well, like mine, has the IR slots that now cannot be utilized. This needs to be adjusted by the game time tonight.

This would be smart for them to do. Another APP I use, Sleeper, just made this change today. Keep up, Yahoo!

Y'awl need to allow us to move any player unable to play for ANY reason involving CoVid (such as the Tenn or Pitt players this week) so as not to be FORCED to drop essential player(s) to replace them. EG; I have the Pitt D in one league and five essential players - right now you're FORCING me to drop one if I wanna pick up and field a D for this week (week 4) game.

We need this ASAP, especially starting now for Week 4 of the 2020 season.

Yes agreed!!! Please address.

All players affected by Covid should have a designation that allows them to be put on IR. For example this week the Titans and Steelers game is PPD and no scoring will count in week 4. Everyone on those teams should be available to be put on IR for the week.

My team is decimated from the Steelers/Titans game. While I've replaced my 4 offensive players (including Derrick Henry) with bench guys, I need to pick up a defense to replace the Steelers. Unfortunately, I cannot pick anyone up without removing AJ Brown from my IR, which is unfortunate because he would be on the IR if his game wasn't being postponed! Having two COVID slots would be hugely beneficial. Otherwise, I either will have to cut a really good player (can the can't cut list be removed for teams that are desperate?) or I will have to just forfeit this week, which would pretty much kill my season.

so, if I have Pittsburgh defense, and the game is "suspended" until Mon/Tues, which week is the result going to count on? In the meantime, I've picked up Green Bay defense and am starting them. Definitely need some covid contingencies in this league!

Agree exactly with Greg H With the potential to suspend the Steelers / Titans game, I think any player on either team should be designated as on IR for that week. Most people plan there rosters for the bye weeks and an expected bye due to covid, puts people at a disadvantage. By designating the players as IR for that week, teams can then add a player to help with the unexpected team not playing.

Just create more IR spots in each league to accommodate. Putting players on IR helps us retain them while on the other side making it a "BYE" week screws everything up. I know have to drop some players I don't want to so that I have a QB this week.

When a league has IR roster spots, why does Yahoo! allow players listed as "out" to be put in the IR roster spot? That's not necessarily fair because then managers can just stash free agents. Many leagues added IR roster spots in case of COVID outbreaks. Now those IR roster spots are being used for players who miss just one or two games with regular football injuries. I think only players who test positive for COVID or players who actually are on real-life Injured Reserve should be eligible for the IR roster spot.

IR customization is a must! Let the commish have the ability to determine who can go on IR. For our league, not being able to put doubtful players on IR hurts the ability to pick someone up on waivers to play when you know they will be out. Would just be good if commish could decide which designations can go on IR.

We are going from an 8-team league to a 5-team league, as commish how do I eliminate 3 teams and retain the 5? Bill Peruzzi firstname.lastname@example.org

Ryquell Armstead currently has a "COVID-19" designation on Yahoo and I've successfully added him to an IR slot. Thanks Yahoo for your transparency, doing whatever you did (or didn't do) without breathing a single word about it so commissioners could prepare.

This should be a separate designation, as our league does not utilize injured reserve and we only want specifically COVID players to be added, not injured players.

This should be made available to cover not only covid positive players but all players who are lost that week to a covid-postponed game (if it were to happen, like baseball has)
