My league enjoys yards and points allowed by the defense scoring, as it gives a better indication of how the defense played. However, the ranges for yards and points allowed are too large, especially yards allowed. If yahoo offered custom yards allowed, each league could alter what they think is appropriates scoring for yards/points allowed. If we do not have the option to alter the setting, then please make the yards allowed 50 yard increments and not 100 yard.

I lost my championship game, but out performed my oroiginal projection by 15 points. My grade? and F... AND I lost profile points. HOw is it I grind all year, make it to the playoffs, even the championships and LOSE points becuase I take second??!!! I should have come in 5th and not lost as many points. It's really lame - even though I know they are fake internet points, it's just annoying. Also, how did I get an F?? The logic to these things makes no sense.

Some hate using Defense. Some like it. This would give GMs the option. Thanks for your consideration!

The big guys need some love. I'd really love individual offensive linemen, but team linemen would be a great start. Punters should get some love, too.
Offensive linemen (team) scoring could include bonuses for rushing for 100/150/more yards in a game. Individuals could include pancakes and penalties for sacks given up.
Punter scoring would be points for average punt yardage in the game and points for punts inside the 20/10/5.

Yahoo admin, my leauge has some weird math being done and the recap is all wrong. This is wreaking havoc on finalizing who actually is the champion. At the end of the PIT v CLE game there was a 0.6 point differential in championship but as of this AM 3 point difference in total but if you add up the individual player scores it adds up to what was shown last night. I don't see any stat corrections overnight. Please assist. Thanks.

Add kicking stats as an option to team defense
For example if you drafted the ravens def you would have their kicker stats also..would eliminate having to draft a kicker

If a player loses a point for a stat correction on tfl (Jordyn Brooks), how come the team Def was not deducted a tfl point also (Seattle)?

Include the ability to choose to get notifications of opponents scores (TDs, big plays, etc.) during matches.

Now that teams are going for 4th down more and more often, defensive scoring should reflect that. It is a turnover and should be worth a couple pts. When you stop someone of 4th and goal, thats just as big as a pick or fumble

I need a scoring option which provides wins to the top half of my league each week. Head to head has always made little sense to me and the only reason it seems to exist is to be similar to the NFL matchup based scheduling. Please institute this option as it is a more accurate assessment of the best teams each week.
Breaking up scoring for each position would also be a great improvement (IE rushing yards for qbs different than Rbs, or adjusting PPR per position)

The TE option is so barren. Create a 1.5 PPR incentive exclusive to TE so that they’re actually worth drafting and streaming. The position is essentially meaningless for FFL, much like a K.

You need a default with points, whatever is less, zero or negative points. Someone in my league had (-16pts) for the week with two goalie plays and decided not to play goalies the rest of week so the points would be added at the end of the week for not reaching minimum, so you gave him plus 16pts at the end of the week.

Moneyline Option -
Add an optional moneyline fantasy owners can select for each player in their lineup. The moneyline option would simply increase or decrease a players total points based on the outcome of their teams game. Such an option would allow fantasy owners to be invested in both their individual player and the actual outcome of the football games.
For Example:
- A players team has +100 moneyline odds (2.0 decimal odds)
- Moneyline option is selected for player (remember its optional per each player)
- Player scores 10 fantasy points
- If players team wins game then the total points scored is 20 (10 x 2.0)
- If the players team loses game then total points scored is 5 (10 x 0.5)Hoping to make this a reality merely to show my friends it is a good idea.

if defense gets credit for a blocked punt and a TD if they score, how can the points then count against the Defense scoring. (example Carolina if being charged 33 points against, when 6 of those points scored were from a blocked punt recovery, shouldn't Carolina Def only be charged 27?)
-
Mark Myers commented
Get rid of the +/- please. It's so stupid. Replace with blocks or even FOW and everyone is happy

Let's start with "PIM as a negative" at the very least, and pleeeease add "Goalie scoring (G, A, PIM)" as secondary importance. After that the other categories would be cool but, to me, unnecessary.
-
Kyle Weber commented
Can we get fights as a category? PIM is a negative to a team typically, unless it's a fight that changes the momentum of the game.

Minimum Goalie Starts for head to head penalty should be allowed to edit points or minus automatic points if not met.
Defensive scoring points would be an awesome add!
As a commissioner we should be able to have more options with scoring and settings.

Special teams points would be very nice and I would love it if we could add even-strength save percentage (EVSV%)
