Another season and yahoo fantasy sports fail to honor league settings in prize leagues. When leagues have lock eliminated teams enabled in prize leagues. Teams that doesn't make the playoffs should automatically be locked from adding and dropping players. That is the whole idea with locking eliminated teams in custom prize leagues. There is no consolation prizes in custom prize leagues. Commissioners of leagues should not have to contact yahoo to lock eliminated teams when commissioners enabled that settings. It makes no sense not honor that setting. Having commissioners contact yahoo is a waste of time because of poor customer service. These leagues are not able to get eliminated teams lock in time before the wavier wire day which is Wednesday. This is completely unfair and the fact that after years and years of yahoo knowing commissioners will fill up the chat line to lock custom leagues and do nothing to make this a better experience is disappointing.
Yahoo please automatically honor commissioners league setting "LOCK ELIMINATED TEAMS" when setting is enabled.

Our keeper/dynasty league wants to use a consolation bracket to determine off-season bonus FAAB allotments. For some very odd reason, when playing with 16 teams, the system will not allow an eight team consolation bracket for the teams that missed the playoffs. Can we please have the option to do this?

Additionally, adding more options than just the typical 4,6, and 8. I.E. 7, 10, 12, etc..

Expand the current playoff teams from 4-8 to 12 or 14. Essentially, seeds 1-4 would have byes and seeds 5-12 would face each other in round 1 (Week 13). Losers of round 1 would end up in the last place bracket. The playoff schedule for 12 teams would be Week 13 thru Week 16.
Understandably, not every league will want to do this but this should be at least an option for those leagues that are looking to expand their playoffs. I believe this is an option in other fantasy football applications.

The option to lock eliminated teams in the playoffs doesn't work in cash leagues. It is pointless to give the commissioners of cash leagues the option to lock eliminated teams if it doesn't work. Please honor cash league commissioners request to lock eliminated teams from the playoffs.
Eliminated players participating in the consolation bracket should not be able to make waiver claims or add/drop players. The ONLY players who should be allowed to make waiver claims or add/drop players are the players who are still in contention to win the championship. That is, after all, WHY WE PLAY THE GAME! When a player is eliminated, then makes waiver claims or add/drop players ... it's at best, poor sportsmanship and at worst it's cheating and possible collusion.
Please give us the option to turn the consolation bracket off!
This will make the "lock eliminated teams" feature more effective (right now it's basically useless because it lets managers in the consolation playoffs continue to make waiver moves, which is not what most commissioners intend when they use this feature) -

Expand total amount of teams that can make the playoffs.
Example: 12 or 16 teams over four weeks (weeks 13-16).Nice option for big leagues.
ESPN already does this.
