Micah Parsons should have DE eligibility

Samer Kazem commented
Danielle Hunter needs to have DE eligibility which he has had his whole career on the Vikings!
-
Gary Davenport commented
Yannick Ngakoue (DE, CHI) only has eligibility as a defensive lineman and not a defensive end. This makes no sense--he's an end, Always has been.

Micah Parsons has bulked up this off-season and made the permanent move to DE. Cowboys are using a base 4-3 defense and official depth charts have Parsons listed at DE. Please move Parsons to DL for IDP.

Javon Hargrave is a DL. Can't use him at DE or DT. Needs to be designated one or the other or both.

Chicago Bears safety Jaquan Brisker and Defensive End Aiden Hutchinson are listed as DB and DL respectively in fantasy football meaning I can't start them as a safety and defensive end as they are listed on their teams websites. Only position available to start them is D. yahoo needs to update this before the season. How is a DB not available to start at either Safety or Cornerback. Please fix asap

Designate one position for player, no duel positions. Yahoo designates either QB or TE, not QB/TE. The leagues can setup flex positions if they choose, but the multiposition designated player can create some problems in 2QB leagues for example.

Todd Trevisan commented
Jets QB Chris Streveler should be QB/TE eligible like Hill.

Jeff Driskel is not a Tight End in 2022. He has never actually recorded any career stats as a TE, including in 2021 when he was listed as a TE for a whopping 4 weeks. Yahoos own guidelines note eligibility is sourced from a data provider. If yahoo will not change the eligibility based on the comments. Can you disclose which data provider lists him as a TE? There is no other site I can find that has him as a TE. Thx

You guys can't watch the NFL or keep up with he easiest of stats not having Parsons with DE along with LB position. You wont even tell us how to make this happen.
-
charles atkins commented
How can you guys say you are doing your job and not have Parson listed as DE/LB?
You would even tell us "how" a player gets two positions in the first places. -

Can we add DE to Bradley Chubb’s eligible positions? Miami runs a 4-3 defense, and he will line up on the edge.

Mike Williams injury status should be OUT after Chargers head coach Brandon Staley announced he will be out for "weeks"

Casey Herron commented
Any chance we can give Deebo Samuel an RB designation?

Taysom Hill should not have TE eligiblity. He never lines up at TE. Takes snaps and occasionally lines up out wide, but NEVER at TE.
-
G Lidin commented
I think that Taysom Hill needs to have his TE position removed, and be classified solely as a QB. Thanks!

Neeraj Gautama commented
Micah Parsons should have DE/LB designation. He has played edge most of the year.
-
Will Millar commented
Looking at week 5 Taysom Hill did zero plays as a TE, he did QB and RB plays only....this is not fair to the fantasy league. I am not allowed to play my RB at TE why should one team have that ability. He caught zero passes week 5 he was not a TE at all.

Mack is accurately listed as an EDGE on the Chargers depth chart, probably noting the hybrid D.
https://www.chargers.com/team/depth-chart
Obviously edge is not an official position, but is an LB/DE hybrid &: should be reflected as such.
This is the best explanation of why your metrics and designations on these
specific positions are incorrect and wildly inaccurate, depleting valuable players of the points they are best garnered to win at their position:https://dynastyleaguefootball.com/2019/04/15/make-pass-rushing-linebackers-fantasy-relevant/
Essentially, you are mislabeling the majority of edge players. By simply going with a defensive scheme designation, those labels are inaccurately robbing players of points. The problem is the fact that edge is not currently an official designation, but equally another additional problem is in the fact that you continue to evaluate defensive schemes, using only two categories, when in actuality many teams use hybrid schemes that do not fit into either compartment, this negating your entire evaluation of player designations completely.
Mack is just one example.
He is even noted, currently, as a DE on University of Buffalo's website:
https://www.ubbullrun.com/2022/5/17/23072695/bulls-in-the-pros-khalil-mack
"During his time with both the Raiders and Bears, Mack played in both a 4-3 and 3-4 defensive front."
He is an EDGE, that plays both DE & OLB in a HYBRID defense, that is typically 3-4, but also runs 4-3 & other variants.
An edge player is best described as a hybrid between a linebacker and DE position.
Currently, your point system and player designation system is the most wildly inaccurate of all the major fantasy football applications I have evaluated.

Hill is not a TE. Take your pick Yahoo, it's either a TE or a QB but it can't be both. Otherwise teams will in effect be able to start 2 QBs in a 1 QB league.
