Bring back the Fantasy Football Commissioner League Member RATING SYSTEM
For YEARS league creators like myself have complained how we, and most importantly, the other members in our league, and our league itself, are getting screwed & F'd over because of people who join, mainly from the PUBLISH LEAGUE option. People who see a league has an opening, reads the description, JOINS, and then a few things will happen: HOPEFULLY they are DEDICATED players who adjust their line up every week
But usually they either:
1. Join, draft, and QUIT the league right after never to be seen again, or, Join and NEVER show up, or, join maybe show up for a few weeks, then ABANDON their team.
And when these 's do quit, it leaves their team's w player in their starting line up who are on, BYE, IR and/or, OUT, which then gives their opponent an easier chance at a win, which then screws up the league standings, and in-turn, F's up the playoff seeding's!
So for YEARS, myself and other Commissioner's, asked, and BEGGED, Yahoo to put in a rating, & comment system so we can rate these pieces of *, so other and future league creator's and commissioner's can see, WHO wants to join their league? Are they a good team owner? Do they play every week? Are they dedicated? Or are they, no show's? And so we can comment, "Person joined via PUBLISH, never showed up!"...Person joined, and drafted, but QUIT the league after week 1, 2, 3, 4...etc...
Now when I have to Publish a league, I always put in the league descrptions. SERIOUS ONLY! You Join You play every Week or BOOTED!.
When someone does join, I email them or post a message on the league message board welcoming them, and also explaining how this is a fun, yet serious league, and I only have 1 rule! YOU JOIN, YOU PLAY EVERY WEEK! You adjust your lineup's accordingly so you have someone starting at every position who is not on BYE, OUT or IR
Now after years of begging for this RATING SYSTEM, Yahoo FINALLY created one!!!! YES!
But as I was just told, bc I had another one of these POS, join my league, and then abandon their team, before I kick them the F OUT of my league, I was going to RATE them POORLY as a Team Owner/Manager.
BUT Yahoo Fantasy replied and said, SORRY..WE GOT RID OF IT!
why? I have NO IDEA. But this is totally BULLS#IT
IF it's not brought back, I'm deleting 4 LEAGUES that have been around for 14-21 years because CLEARLY, then Yahoo Fantasy DNGAF about us, the dedicated league creators, commissioner's or members of out league who join to have fun, but get F'D OVER bc of the POS who join, then abandon leagues, and are allowed to do it repeatedly
So PLEASE BRING BACK THE LEAGUE MEMBER RATING SYSTEM
