[Chat/Message Boards] Message Board Removal Feedback
Fantasy league message boards are no longer available but you can still access historical message board posts through your fantasy profile. Moving forward, we're investing in Fantasy Chat as the place for league communication and urge you to check out some of the recent improvements we've made like adding threading and pinning with polls coming soon.

I was hoping that all of the negative feedback for this in the fantasy baseball thread would get to someone at Yahoo and they'd change the decision for football. I've lost hope now. I encourage all commissioners to find other sites for their leagues if they used the message board at all. The "fantasy chat" isn't going to work as a comparison. None of my six baseball leagues use the chat even though almost all used message boards heavily in the past. As a Yahoo fantasy sports supporter and manager of over 20 years, it's a really sad day knowing that it's best to move on to another site to protect the quality of our leagues.

This is a bad move that will make me want to take all of my fantasy football leagues to another platform.

This is stupid. I think there are better ways for you to harvest personal information (consider upping the amount of dumb **** you spam us with). Just charge money if you need to make your stock market projections.

I can't possibly imagine a dumber decision than this. My league's message boards are basically a museum that we look back on and you are taking that away. Awful decision. Makes me consider using another service.

Bring back the message board. Far easier and from the feedback I'm seeing, most agree.

While I saw this coming, the elimination of the league Message Board, in our football leagues I was hoping Yahoo would keep the Message Board, particularly in football. The Message Board is critical in maintaining league integrity and used hugely in the draft process. Also used for league chatter and keeping the fun and competitiveness going all season in a league. Not that it will do any good but I "urge" Yahoo to re-consider and bring back the Message Board which Yahoo has grossly and mistakenly chose to remove from all fantasy sports..

I am logged in on my laptop and have no idea where the Fantasy Chat is? How can it be better if you can't find it?

I don't see where Fantasy Chat is on the site. Message boards were easy to use for league communication. Easy to see message history with threads. I don't see why you had to change it, but will reserve judgment until I even see how it works.

A TOTAL GAFF BY YAHOO REMOVING THE MESSAGE BOARDS. IT ALREADY SUCKS IN BASEBALL. TEXTING CONSTANTLY IS FOR CHILDREN. IM THINKING OF TAKING ALL MY LEAGUES ELSEWHERE. A PR DISASTER. VERY BAD DECISION...

We use the message board to conduct our league draft. Currently we are looking to move our league to MFL. No message board, no league.

Baseball at Fantrax is going really well. We'll be moving football there as well since Yahoo is now helmed by a bunch of morons who removed the message boards from their fantasy games.

We actually used the message boards quite a bit for our league as a way to recap the week's previous games. Used it just as much as the league chat honestly. I'm guessing I'm probably in the minority since its gone away but my league will miss it.

Great example of "if it ain't broke don't fix it." This is a critical piece of communication that many leagues and commishs rely on to get teams on the same page. Pinned messages in a chat app is not a solution. We will be moving our leagues to a new fantasy platform.

The message boards are critical to my fantasy leagues because we use them to slow draft our teams, each team has their own message board to provide important information so that the league can work. We HAVE to have them in Yahoo to complete a fantasy football season. If they are not brought back, we will have to look elsewhere.
