Would love to see football with rotisserie option instead of just head to head.
Rotisserie scoring is where you play everyone in your league every week. Like highest scoring would be 9-0 and last would be 0-9 in a ten person league. I have had a brutal year where iv scored the second most but have had the most scored against me.

Let us draft a coach
The idea of drafting a coach has been floated in a couple long time leagues, and has been an overwhelming hit.
The idea is you’re able to draft a coach and assign a point value to a win or loss. For example if you draft Matt Nagy and the bears win it’s +1 and a loss would be -1
The coach position, if used would be a roster spot that you’re only allowed to put a coach in to prevent teams from not having a coach and filling it with a deeper bench of position players.
Every team needs a good coach! If able to draft past coaches I would roster Ditka and take a zero every week just to have Ditka as my coach!
Think about the possibilities. It just adds a fun twist and would add a cool fun feature that yahoo could add, which would put them another step ahead of other fantasy platforms!

Award waiver claims first, then release all remaining players to free agents! Players locked with no claims..
Players are being locked in the waiver system even when they are not claimed by anyone. At 1am, most players that are not claimed move to free agents. This morning it kept several players, including Matt Bryant and Cameron Brate locked in the waiver system, even though no one claimed them. Then, apparently after waivers were awarded at 2:21am, they became free agents. It would be beneficial for all fantasy team owners if Yahoo would lock all players until waiver claims are awarded and then release all unclaimed players to free agency at the same time. Doing it in different waives and different order screws up those looking to add free agents that are locked for no apparent reason and also those who have put in waiver claims, but do not know if they will get their player, all while everyone else has an opportunity pick up the free agents. Yahoo - Please change this. Award all waiver claims first, then release all remaining players to free agency in that order! Thank you...

Manual Playoff Seeding for Each Round
Our league is considering a rule change to do manual seeding of the playoffs this year for each round as we want to allow the highest seed in each round to pick their opponents of that specific round.
1) 3 Seed picks between 4-6 for first round
2) 1 Seed picks between the two winners of the first round118th ranked -
Allow a mix of head to head as well as top half of scorer earn a point for standing
For example if you win and you are the 5th highest scorer for the week in a 10 man league you get 2 points towards your standing if you’re 6th and win you go 1-1 if you lose and are bottom half you go 0-2 or you lose and are top half for the week you go 1-1 it’s a way to negate unlucky matchups and praise consistency while having the head to head experience

How the heck can you draft autopick already?
The actual draft didn't even happen yet. This is ridiculous. My first two picks are Ryan and Ertz.Ertz was sandwiched between Beckham and Brown. That is terrible rankings. And, why do I have TWO kickers? I want to leave this league. Or, give me an extra league to draft This is B.S!!!

Hybrid or Combined League play
I have been a commissioner for 12 years and have my on website.
Everyone in fantasy would like to see a hybrid league.
OR allow you to reward additional wins for H2H and Points Scored combined league.(Commish tool)Example would be:
Rewarding 1 win for H2H
Rewarding 1 win for top half highest points scored.Yahoo doesn't even have a tool to put manually place a team in the playoffs based on: highest scoring non playoff team.

Weekly Contracts
The problem I have with FF is it relies heavily on how well you drafted. Get lucky and you win for 16 weeks straight.
In my league we use FAAB which is a lot of fun because it creates a supply and demand market and assigns dollar values to waiver wire players.
Here is my idea. What would be cool is a week-to-week contract system. Teams get a budget just like real life teams. Players get "signed" to a contract on draft day from anywhere from 1 week to the whole season. Initially, this is based on algorithms tracking projected value, draft ranking etc. But as the season progresses it becomes purely market-driven. Maybe I pick up Tom Brady for 3 weeks because that's when I need him and that's the only way I can afford him.
This system creates a lot of turnover and makes fantasy football way more transactional and fun and not just about game day and holding a bunch of keepers till the end.

Change the way players status' are listed
Myself and others in my league are constantly frustrated when we have injured players on our roster that have been ruled out by the team, and yet on Yahoo, every week after the games, the status changes from out, to Questionable, even when the team has said they will be out several weeks. For example, this week, I have Leornard Fournette, he's been out for several weeks and the team has already publicly stated he will not play till after the bye week. I have moved him to an IR spot and picked up a fill in player, but of course, come tuesday, Yahoo changes him to questionable again, so now he is no longer IR eligible, so it locks my roster from making any changes until I either drop a player off my roster, or just wait until he gets changed back to OUT. I don't think a players status should change from OUT, until the player is actually expected to play. This makes roster management practically impossible week in and week out and gives you a disadvantage to all of the other teams that don't have an injured player. Also, along the same lines, why is Leveon Bell listed as OUT!! The way yahoo works, a player listed as out is IR eligible. So now the Bell owner is able to just stash him in an IR spot all season long, and for some reason, his status stays at OUT every week, regardless of rumours of his return. It is ridiculous that a team can hold a player in an IR spot who is perfectly healthy and just refuses to play, and guys like myself who own Fournette, or others who have Dalvin Cook or anyone else who has suffered multiple game injuries, are stuck waiting till late in the week, when all the best pickups are gone from free agency before we can make any moves. Figure it out Yahoo!

8 team Playoff with Consolation Bracket
I run a 12 team league with an 8 team playoff however for the 4 unlucky members there season ends after week 12. I think it would be a good idea to have the option for a 4 team consolation bracket extending their seasons two more weeks so they are still engaged for the rest of the season.

The comissioners should be able to customize every round of the playoffs.
Commissioners should be able to adjust every round of the playoffs. We have the eliminated teams play for draft positions. We also have divisions throughout, not seeding teams based on points.

Improved Fantasy Football trade veto system
I would like to see some upgrades in regard to the way trades are vetoed in fantasy sports. By default, 33% of the league must vote against a trade for the trade to be vetoed. I am in a 12 team league, therefore 4 vetos nullifies the trade. I am asking you (Yahoo) to improve your process by allowing commissioners to edit the amount/percentage of votes that it takes to veto a trade. We are considering moving our league to another platform if this issue doesnt get solved. we have been with yahoo since 2005, and i would be sad to have to make such a move. However, its 2018 and you have some of the most skilled computer experts in the world, and i think its time to get with the times. thank you

Allow for a longer draft clock time limit than two minutes for electronic drafts, and allow for no draft clock.
The two-minute draft clock limit is an arbitrary limitation on leagues that isn't conducive for leagues that meet to draft in person and like to take their time with the draft. Of course, there is the option to plug in the players manually, but that adds additional effort for the commissioner and sometimes can result in miscommunications without a live draft board. Allowing for us to use the software Yahoo! provides with a draft clock that is longer than two minutes, or even allowing for there to be no draft clock, would vastly improve the experience.

Allow commissioners to set the time waivers are completed.
Having them set to game time to Tuesday releases the waivers at 4:30AM ET, however Free agents are able to be picked up after 3AM before waiver go through. Please allow us to set a specific time this occurs.

H2H Regular Season, Points playoffs
H2H is way more fun for regular season, but I would like to make playoffs points-based. Instead of H2H matchups, the teams in the quarters and semis face everyone and the top scoring half of teams move on to the following round (4 move on from quarterfinals and 2 move on from semifinals). Simple feature to add, and it's more fair.

Create a "draft board" view for offline draft entry
For offline drafts, can you create a "draft board" view to enter draft picks. Our league would prefer to project the draft board during our draft and manually enter the picks. Currently the format is not very user-friendly and does not appear as a draft board, forcing us to purchase a paper board and then go back and enter draft results at a later time. This would save a lot of time and be an awesome feature for offline drafts!!

Close the loophole in the waiver wire
Stop allowing the West Coast to have an advantage over the East Coast. The East Coast shouldn't have to get up at 3am to try and get FA before the waiver wire starts. Adjust the time so it makes it fair for everyone. The West Coast can pick up players and never loose their waiver spot at the top.

Allow users to see all FAAB bids placed on a player in Yahoo fantasy leagues, not just the winning bid
Would make for great fun among friends to see who overpaid for a player, or who missed out because they thought they couldn't afford to bid
