Our League Keeprs deadline is this coming Sunday. We need the positions of ALL players repaired by then. Please, and thank you.

All you guys have to do is copy and paste the positions that Fantrax has, they have it exactly right.

Come on Yahoo. This is absurd. You have NHL teams on your platform that don't have a single RW listed!
This feels like an April Fool's prank at this point. The Athletic even wrote an article about what a cluster your hockey eligibility issues are.
Stop gaslighting us and use the position eligibility designations that everyone else uses - or at least use the positions that your own player profiles use? You can't even get this right internally? Embarrasing.

We cannot have our draft in this situation. Our league has been on Yahoo for 10 years, but if this isn't fixed soon we will have to switch platforms.

Carter Verhaeghe is NOT a C. Please fix soon. I would strongly consider drafting this player as a winger. But NOT as a C, since my league has FOW as a category. I cannot justify using a C slot on a player that does not take faceoffs and I cannot just blindly hope Yahoo will correct this sometime after the season starts.

Please fix the position, it's so important to get this done before the end of this week

So We draft this week and have no idea what positions the player are, is this going to be fixed soon?

Brad Buckley commented
So many players have the wrong position listed for them this needs to be fixed before drafts start!!!

Please fix the position eligibility in hockey. Players are listed as eligible in positions they do not play, however they are not eligible in their actual position. For example, Adrian Kempe is listed as a center and nothing else. He plays LW/RW and has not played more than 4 games at center in the past 2 years.

Hello,
Two players for eligibility requests for the 23-24 season.
Stamkos has played RW for several years now and been recognized by Yahoo as a RW each season. He should continue to be a C/RW this season.
Tavares transitioned to LW last season and was recognized by Yahoo as a LW. He should continue to be a C/LW.
Thank you!

Yahoo - please answer the questions below:
- Will you be making any changes prior to the season? If so, when?
- Will you fix those that are clearly wrong e.g. full time wingers that have been given C-only eligibility?
- Can you be more transparent with the sources you use to make changes? A source that tells you Kempe/Kyrou/Verhaeghe etc. are centres clearly don't have the correct information.
We actually want to help make this easier for you, so please stop being vague or providing little information and help us help you make this right. It's almost September, and people are planning for drafts/keeper decisions etc. Thanks.

Why reset the eligible position from Aug. 17? And over half of the eligible positions from the system are just wrong. Many players on C were barely ever played C.

Gregory Hodder commented
Tavares - C/LW
Draisaitl - C/LW
M Tkachuk - LW/RW
Dubois - LW/C
Matthews - C/RW
Haula - C/LW -

Is this the place to comment or is there a new sub-forum for the new season? Anyway the position-updates seem ever more severe this season.
We're on our 14th season with a 14 team keeper league. 20 keepers on each team. After the launch of the new season this is the count of players in each position (the few with double eligibility is counted once for each position).
LW - 56
C - 85
RW - 35That's a total of 176 position eligibilities and about 170 forwards (very few now have double eligibility).
Yahoo: Are you telling us there are _more_ than twice as many centers in the league as right wingers?
Are you telling us there are 60% more left wingers in the league than right wingers?

Why does this happen year after year....how can we draft a proper team if we can't find multi-positional players on the draft roster...they were there a week ago but now nothing...last year this happened as well...how can you play 2-3 positions one day and the next your a center and thats all....come on Yahoo...it's not brain surgery....

Position eligibility is all messed up. Adrian Kempe has played maybe 4 games at C the past two years yet that is the only position he is eligible for. I am in a keeper league and every RW I had last year has suddenly become exclusively a LW or C. Please get this fixed soon.

Regan Russell commented
When will these take effect? For example, Dylan Cozens is listed as having LW added, however he is still listed as C only in my league. In fact, there isn't anyone listed with multiple position eligibility in the league.

Asa MacLaurin commented
Please add C eligibility to Buchnevich. He's been rostered in that position for the last 9 games.

Re: Byfield he has been playing LW since December 31st apparently (I hadn't realized it was that long until reading this article: https://hockeyroyalty.com/2023/03/21/la-kings-a-star-is-emerging-in-quinton-byfield/)
