Rosters - Position eligibility requests 2023-24
Position eligibility requests for the 2023-24 season.
We will continue evaluating players for new positions going forward and make updates where appropriate.
Full list of updated players for the 23/24 season: https://hockey.fantasysports.yahoo.com/hockey/playerchanges?type=pos
As of 10/4/23, we added the option for Commissioners to award position eligibility to players that haven't earned it by Yahoo Fantasy's standards yet. Keep in mind, this tool will only allow commissioners to add positions, not edit or remove them and you won't be able to assign Forwards or Defensemen with Goalie eligibility and vice versa. Commissioners can add new positions using the steps here: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/position-eligibility-fantasy-hockey-sln7057.html

Please assign Roope Hintz C,RW.
He alternates playing RW and C with Pavelski, who takes more faceoffs than Hintz does. -

Mittelstadt from Buffalo plays wing: add LW please

Roope Hintz consistently plays both C and RW, yet continues to only have C eligibility. Hintz and Pavelski frequently switch positions not only during faceoffs, but also during play in which Hintz will go RW along the boards with Pavelski going net front as a C would do. Per that example which happens often in each Stars game, Hintz should have the same C/RW designations as his linemate Pavelski. Thank you.

Colton Sissons RW
plays on the right wing for a month. That's equivalent of 15 games based on their schedule -

Roope Hintz - RW

Hintz RW. Tage Thompson got it, no reason for Roope not to as well. I mean, what’s the difference between the two?
Also, Brady Tkachuk C.

Roope Hintz - RW. He was this position last year and continues to play on the right. Considering the most recent updates, ie Tage who wins 3 to 5 more draws on average, Roope should have dual eligibility.

All I’m asking is for is:
1. Roope Hintz RW
How is it possible for his line mate to have C/RW if Hintz is just C. Please fix
2.Brady Tkachuk C, the guy plays C, no more explanation needed
3. William Nylander C, I understand if this doesn’t get added
4. Explanation as why Tage Thompson can get RW but not Roope Hintz -

I echo the Nathan MacKinnon RW sentiments made by Puckhead.

Nathan MacKinnon as RW, over the past 10 games he has consistently lined up as a RW during that span and at least 5% lines to the right of Rodrigues. A significant amount of Faceoffs he is on the wing and should be eligible as such

Brady Tkachuk center eligibility just look at how many faceoffs he's taken.

THANK YOU for the corrections to Thompson, Hayes, and Zegres today!

Svechnikov should have RW status, for all the reasons previously outlined by others. It especially doesn’t make sense to keep him as LW-only when NHL.com identifies him as a RW

I know all we do is complain on the feedback forum but thanks for the quick corrections on Hayes n Zegras

Barzal C/RW, he plays it very often. Barely takes any Faceoff.

Brady Tkachuk C/LW and Svechnikov LW/RW
Tkachuk is averaging 5 FW a game and is in the only LW in the top 25 for faceoff wins that doesn't
have the C/LW.Svechnikov starts all powerplays on the right wing.
