make Time On Ice (TOI) a scoring category. It wound make some players that aren't very offensive more valuable

5v5/ES goals/points are the most valuable form of production in hockey! Would make for a fantastic add.
As would primary points which are a strong performance indicator as well

In football, there is a bonus option for 'x' points awarded for 'x' number of yards ran/thrown. Can this possibly be added for hockey please? This way we can have a "hattrick bonus" at the very least.

We should have Primary and Secondary Assist points!
We need Defensive Scoring options too!

There should be an option to apply different points for Overtime Game Winning Goals and Empty Net Goals.
Clearly, a goal that is scored in Overtime is more important than a Game Winning Goal, that was the 3rd goal, in a 7-2 win.
GWG, PPG and SHG are optional for more points than an EVG. So why not ENG and OT GWGs? -

Goalies are players too. Statistically, they can log Goals, Assists, Points and Penalty Minutes. This should be added to scoring settings!

Similar to PP and SH goals, assists, and points... Add the same option for commissioners to assign points for OT goals, assists, and points in league scoring settings.

Goalies get goalies and assists. Provide the option for commissioners to add goaltender points for these.

Faceoff Percentage would be a great addition.
We have used Faceoffs Won and Faceoffs Lost in my roto league for years, but it would be great to replace them with FO%.

This change would allow Takeaways (TK) to be added as an additional "Banger/Defensive" scoring category creating more diversity as well as a more frequent event. TK happen far more often in a game and add an additional element/value to defensive minded forwards and defensemen alike. With this change, you could create more balanced leagues using a 4-4-4 format and could roll out the following scoring format:
G, A, PPP, SOG (Offensive related categories)
HITS, PIM, BLK, TK (Banger related categories)
W, GA, SV, SO (Goalie related categories)And yes, I understand that Shorthanded points (SHP) are available as a "defensive" player scoring category, but to my previous point regarding the frequency of events in any given game - SHP are not a frequent enough statistic to make it fantasy relevant. SHP were far too irrelevant this year and there's just not enough to make it viable or valuable moving forward.
For perspective: the top SHP player this past year finished with just 6 SHP, six scored 5, and eighteen scored 4, among a bunch of others with lower totals - in other words, incredibly low totals to justify as a constant scoring category. Whereas in comparison, the top Powerplay points (PPP) player finished with 44 PPP and seventy-five players finished with 20 or more PPP. But when it comes to Takeaways, over FIFTY players recorded more than 50 TK and over 300 players recorded at least 25 TK or more. So overall, it is a much more relevant category than SHP.
As a longtime Fantasy Hockey player and 3 x Champ (nawtttt a big deal) - this is something I'd love to see change in seasons to come, cheers.

Please add for points league hattricks.
Most competitor league's have it, but yahoo does not.
This is like not have shutouts for goalies!
