Excessive adds are ruining all news reports that i'm interested in, so much so that I rarely use it anymore

sorry, had enough...been using Yahoo for years but no more. too many popups and advertising.. off to ninemsn
unbelievable how bad Yahoo has become with all the adds and popups. I have been loyal to Yahoo since I got my first computer but no more. Ninemsn will become my homepage and I will close my Yahoo email account as well as that has also been taken over with adds. Pity, Yahoo used to be excellent

Kick Dr Karl to the Kurb.
Hie Government funded ad is is just ONE of the many reoccurring ads that continue to pop up/scroll down/whatever.
IF I cared about some ongoing report , after I saw it on NEWS , I would LOOK it up. I DON'T NEED TO BE FORCE FED IT .
PLEASE have a AD-block option, so that we can decide IF we WANT to see ads or not , NOT just on each one, but totally BLACKOUT/turn off

an ad with a monket in a parachute before news of a child falling to his death from a kite, really ?
Very insensitive and not the first time I have noticed similar advertisments being paired with bad news items....malaysian tourist adverstisments coupled with the MH370 loss springs to mind. Is it too difficult to consider which ads are paired with news items so this insensitve type of placement is not repeated ?

This website is not newsworthy because of the spam adverts disguised as news stories. I think I will try and more serious site for REAL news
While scrolling down the so called news there are so many adverts for anti-aging, free iPhones etc. what a joke.

you need to get rid of these pop ups as they are annoying and I am considering changing my home page to a better one (especially one that doesn't contain spam ads

I am so sick of losing some of my internet credit just to have your bloody ad come up across the top of the screen EVERY time the home page
Every time I open my your homepage, I have to wait while the rotten bloody top ad loads We have bad internet access at best and this just ads to the problem. Part of my internet credit MUST be getting used up just to load your ads so NO your yahoo is NOT free to us. You get your money from the advertisers but this has the added consequence of us losing some of our internet allocation. It cements my stance that ANY AD that inconveniences me I try my hardest to NEVER use that product

Too many ads.
Get rid of the big ad that pops up everytime the home page appears. I am so fed up with it, it turns me off coming to yahoo.
