I am cancelling my yahoo mail account as every time I open your page a SPOKEN ADVERT starts up
I cannot even check my email in my lunchbreak or while on the phone as every time I open your page a SPOKEN ADVERT starts up. I CANNOT turn down my volume (so please don't suggest this) as I use my phone for soft-calling (ie. calls through the laptop). HOW CAN I TURN THIS OFF?

The most annoying thing that happens when reading news etc on your webpage is to have a pop-up add suddenly appear blocking everything
Get rid of pop-up ads - they are bloody annoying. 9MSN is looking good.

Advertising of Known Scams
Yahoo, If you allow scam advertising you should be held liable as a co-conspirator. All news services should be obligated to verify the authenticity of what they promote. I will not use your service again until you clean up your act.
I refer to the Sponsored Scam Advertisement on your News Highlights called "Baird Comes Clean to Family"
This redirects to a fake ABC News article featuring Mike Baird as a National Australia Bank executive (he is the former NSW Premier) and also uses illegal references to the News show "The Project" and even cites the presenter Waleed Ali as…978th ranked -

Delete these scam pages that try to rip people off by getting them to send money to the scammers. Like the binary code scam for shares...
Please delete these ads that are fake and scams.

The photo/story you put up about the eye injury was horrific and should not be mainstream viewing.
I was distressed to see the image of the eye injury you put up. So horrific and stressful. I am changing my home page as this is so insensitive to your readers.

REMOVE YOUR ADS BETWEEN NEWS ARTICLES
The reason you aren't on the same playing field as other popular sites (which I don't even need to mention here, everyone reading this knows what sites I am talking about) is because for every legitimate news article, there is a rubbish advertisement that is made to look like a news article to reel people in, which pushes the user onto SPAM websites and affiliates thereafter are not under the control of Yahoo! so you don't feel you need to do anything about it. Seriously, pick your game up, your whole platform is looking like AOL gone bad with spam-fill…
