opting out of content
I used your icons so I won't see Rolf Harris in my news feed but what do I get? More Rolf Harris, please - I don't want to see his face or any stories on him AT ALL, NEVER EVER!!!

You can consult properly with the individuals using this and allow them to choose what THEY WANT
I am not happy with the present site. The previous site worked perfectly well. The fact that you gave ME no choice as to what I thought - you just went ahead and changed it! Leaving me NO CHOICE, by which I could keep what was working (for me) perfectly well.

Time to act guys! Surely at least one of you went to school and can read the bad rap your site has got to date. Act on the comments!
Please act now and do something about your ********* site. Surely at least one of you guys went to school and can read the feedback you continue to get regarding the site's current form factor and content. An Australian site for Australians please. Not a disjointed hodgepodge of no-news news as is presented currently. It's not that hard to do. Just take your fingers out and get on with it.

"committed to making your daily habits ......"
What a load of absolute garbage - yahoo is not committed to customer satisfaction at all - I wonder if they actually read any of the comments, haven't seen anyone yet happy with the new format and number of ads......

Look where you've placed the erbay icon! Please give me back the old page!!!!
The new page does NOT take into account the needs of your users. This is very poorly planned and thrust upon us when the old style was damned near perfect! If it ain't broke DO NOT fix it!

After going through a few pages of the feedback, I think its safe to say your new page sucks!! Please bring the old page back!!!
Why break something that isn't broken?? The old page was so easy to navigate around. Yahoo7 WAS my homepage but I'm afraid MSN has got my vote now!!
I'll leave you with the wise words or Ice Cube, "Check yourself before you wreck yourself!"575th ranked -

When the back button is selected why does it take you back to the start again, very annoying!!
If you are viewing an article after flicking down or across the headlines the back button should return you to the last spot you were not back to the start again and have to flick through all the headlines again to get back to the spot you were!!!! Very disappointing Yahoo7!!

Keep me signed in - what a joke - it doesn't work. Then it comes up with wrong district weather
Why bother having "keep me signed in" feature when it doesn't work? Then recently when I do sign in the weather locality doesn't correct itself automatically - it has to be prompted. At least it usually gives weather for somewhere in Oz.
