The latest update has stopped my app from working. It requests i login but it is taking me to the yahoo UK & Ireland site.
My app no longer works as it directs me to UK & Ireland yahoo site. I live in Australia. The problem occured after the last update. I have tried reloading the app but I still get the same problem

I am fed up with yahoo, with its unrequited publicity window. I changed the settings to the old version but it's no better
My idea is that you give us a choice whether we want or not to see the right window publicity and provide a better email service.

I don't have a cell phone. They don't work here & never will. No mobile number means no yahoo account. All web access is via government subsidized satellite access. I cannot get a YAHOO account without a mobile. Why? Yahoo was around for ages without this stupid policy.
This policy is one that assumes that all the world in exactly liker YOUR life is...everyone lives near a cell tower...everyone has a phone of their very own.

Query about email spam from my own account
This is not an idea...this is a message to try and get any information on how I can contact yahoo directly, either my email or phone to report my account being compromised and used to send out spam. I have spent the better part of an hour trying to find anyway to contact customer care or feedback other than the randomly generated help responses. Very frustrated. I have blocked a number of emails in settings several months ago but am now starting to receive them. Do you know why this might be happening? Hmm.. is this site easy to use for trying to contact yahoo Can't use the contact form - the yahoo site takes me in loops in the help section
the employees need to think a little when developing the help section for users. I get sent in loops when trying to select the contact form- I get sent back to the help section. Then there's the inability to ask a question without registering. My I question or issue is about the registration details with yahoo. The form keeps telling my phone number is not valid and so I can't progress further.

Ive changed passwords three times since then but now I cant access the account at all. I want to close the account so that my contact and information cannot be used. I thought Yahoo was good at protecting our privacy from hackers. Thank you

DMARC changes
I have been reading that unless I use a yahoo smtp account I will no longer be able to send email from my yahoo account. My ISP (Optus) prevents an SMTP being used that is not an optus one. So until now my account has been using yahoo pop and optus smtp. It appears, from reading, that DMARC has broken this. It this is the case I will have to shut my yahoo accounts down and move to Google because it will not work this way on Optus.

Making me change my email password is not going to stop spammers putting in the reply email as my yahoo address or anybody else's email address they choose, i have had the same password for over 10 years and now i have had to change it....WHY?!?
