Don't put graphic images of self harm on your front page!!!!!
The first story I saw on the yahoo front page was about the whale suicide game. To my shock and anger it included a graphic image of self harm! Now, I know Yahoo isn't big on research but if the person responsible did theirs, the image would not be visible unless readers clicked on a 'click to reveal: warning: this image is graphic' button. Images of self harm encourage those with depression to self harm, so if you MUST post graphic images like this, do so in a 'click to reveal' situation within the article itself. Go back to school - your the use of (sic) in a line of text is a waste of time and bloody annoying. The quotation marks around a line or piece of text indicate that this is a direct quote or line as give so why the double down? I am going to assume you still say PIN number when number is the last initial.

I noticed an article today on the Yahoo7 homepage about a lady who alledgedly had *** with a dog. It appeared to show her face. If true, this is a low act, but is it necessary to shame her by showing her face. While there is the odd useful/ informative piece, there seems to be quite a lot of sensationalist trash on Yahoo7. Stop displaying graphic or distressing images on the home page.
It defeats the purpose of having a graphic or distressing content warning on a story if you then display an image of that graphic content as a thumbnail attached to the story, or even worse as a larger image in the featured news panel at the top of the home page. This has happened multiple times recently.
As an example, at present the following story alone is displayed in three places on your home page, each time with an image and an accompanying, now redundant, content warning:
