My Canadian News needs to be on top.
I want my Canadian news at the top of my page not mixed into international news which I may or may not be interested in reading.

I used to love going through the news splash feed. The white in front of the Image is distracting.
I used to love going through the news splash feed. The white in front of the Image is distracting. Enough that I do not want to scroll through it. What were you thinking making it so distracting. Poor graphic design principles. You want the user engaged.

Put direct weather link back on left hand side list
The weather link should be listed under the list of links on the left side, instead of burying it under 2 pages when you go to all products. If this really is a Canadian site then you should know we like our weather news!

Hi,
Before I critize your redesign of your web (ca.yahoo.com), I am wondering why the change?I wish if you had professional web designers to notice the fault in the new design. Or Beta test before you implement.
The new design forces the user to hover to get information. Prior, the user can make an inform decision on what to select. Hovering forces the user to waste time by hovering each image to get some details. It is not user friendly due to additional work for information.
If I wanted to see a bigger image, I would look at flickr…

Home Page News
Not everyone thinks that Hollywood and celebrities are headline news. I used Yahoo home page since Google decided to dump theirs. But a friend told me about igHome and there, at least, I am not forced to see celebrities taking up the top half of my monitor.
I’m looking forwards to Pogu’s tech site so not all is bad.
Namaste and care,

News Posts
At least bring back the old News Posts where each story was slotted into its appropriate section. It is much more difficult trying to find relevant and interesting stories when their are 300 news posts.

Give us a balance view
I really expect News can give us a balance information about an event. However, I find in "'A really dark moment': Canadians react to Poilievre's comment on Trudeau's LGBTQ+ post", you only interview one side and disregard the protesters' opinion. That is unfair.
