absolutely detest the new homepage...
please bring back the old homepage and stop trying so hard...this new format induced a headache from the format, to colour palate, to having to sift through the garbage of random news feeds.

Please bring back the old Yahoo Canada homepage, new one is ugly, too long and contains information I am not interested in - Canada 90%
Go back to the old home page which was short and sweet, let you decide what you want to read/watch or followup. Instead of leafing through paper pages, you are now forcing users to leaf through unwanted internet garbage. And the colours and horribly gauche and vulgar. My goodness what a messy homepage. I want my Yahoo Canada, with my choice of topics where I do not have to sift through junk mail! Not a truly functional page and not easy to use.

Give back the option to permittently remove dis-interested news and ads.
I personnel would like not to see any references to sports finances. I would also like to choose which news feeds I get. Like television News, tune in at 11:20 pm for weather then tune out at 11:25 pm so I don't have to see or listen to all the B.S. that is out there. If I don't have chooses I will simply leave Yahoo.ca permeably.

Bring back the previous format. I had more control over navigating through it and was easier to view. The new format is not better.
Instead of changing the entire look of the Yahoo! main page, you should change only what most people did not like. If it isn't broke - don't fix it. Please bring back the old format asap, otherwise, people like me will leave Yahoo!

Purple too strong, format of main story with big picture is terrible, format o flong list of stories is wasteful
- Purple bar colour is too strong, it dominates the content.
- Format of main stories with big picture in center of screen is terrible. By superimposing text over the photo, I get a photo that is 1.5" h x 5"w with bottom part missing that could be interesting. Give me a complete 2"x3" pic with text beside it.
- News stories that scroll for miles down the page should not have photos and several lines displayed. Should be a single headline of text that when you scroll over it you get a bubble with several more lines of text that you can…

Bring back the old yahoo news page format
The old format may not be new and trendy BUT it was clean and easy to use. At least give us the option to fall back to that format. I guess I shall only be using the e mail from now on as I found the new format awful and well silly.
It isn't a matter of getting used to something it is a matter of usefulness. The tabbed design of the news has provided what to me a useless page and not worth the time to look at. -

Quit messing with items that work, you have messed up the mail with a harder to use less efficient version, now you are doing it to your home page. Time to start looking for a more user friendly page

The new changes to yahoo news are awful. The font is way too bright bring back black, it hurts my eyes. The page is crowded abd there are too many videos.
I will be switching to google news, too bad I enjoyed yahoo up until now -

Horrible new Yahoo Home Page setup!
In today's world where people have a BUSY life and time is PRECIOUS, the LAST thing we need is to have our Home Page changed on us and have to scroll down a long list of items to find newsworthy articles which are not sorted in accordance to our preferred level of interest (World News; Canadian News; Local News) and fields of interest. Unless you revert to how it was before (and hopefully CUT DOWN on the annoying ads on either side of the reading space, then you will lose me and I will walk away! This is TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL…
