Send more timely security alerts to customers
I received several emails from Yahoo encouraging me to update my account. After ignoring them I hit "update" because Dec. 8 was the deadline and I was told I might lose access temporarily I was asked for my password which I gave--and I was hacked by some app in Nigeria.
Yahoo should have warned me about this scam, because I trustingly thought it was Yahoo making these requests.
