The previous format was much more efficient!
The page is TOO big. Can no longer see everything at once. Seeing lots of things I am NOT interested in. Change it back!!!!

they had to follow their yahoo counterparts down south. The states change quite some time ago now we had to follow suit. too bad it was better before. If i wanted to read a newspaper i would go out and buy one. Too much information on one page that keeps scrolling to no end. Simple is better bye bye yahoo. now i have to change my mail too.

Also agree with nearly all poster, the old format was better. Either give an option to the old format or be prepared to lose a lot of readers. Including me.

Unless the blue background on the articles can be turned off, Goodbye Yahoo. Difficult and irritating to read with a dark blue background.

I have no idea who agrees to these chages but whoever that person is senior management should review that person's continued employment. The previous organization of your welcome page was much better as it allowed a person to retain only those topic areas that were of interest to them. As an example I have no interest in sports or movie stars and the like yet have to scroll past them to see the news that I care for.A similar error in judgement was made when someone took it upon himself to 'improve' yahoo mail and in particular to change how contacts were listed. Prior to the last change contacts were listed in alphabetical order of the last name. Now it is in alphabetical order of first name - stupid, stupid, STUPID.

here's a strange thing: click on wee CDN flag in upper right corner switch to Quebec flag BINGO! only Canadian content and quite simple in presentation. (Being bilingual does have succinct benefit.) BTW I never clicked on anything which could suggest I agree to the new format, so I still have old format and new format as an option. If I'm eventually forced to go to the new format only, it will be BYE-BYE YAHOOOOOO!

Totally agree. I want to see the single-line headlines again. I don't have time to scan the whole page and then click on 'Finance', scan again, click on 'Sports', scan again.
Better address this guys... scanning headlines for news that interests me is ALL that I come to Yahoo.com for.

I used to use Yahoo as my main search engine. Now I avoid it like the plague because I detest the new homepage. Although each day i check the page hoping that Yahoo has come to it's senses and has gone back to the old homepage.
Also your analogy about coke is not a good one for your case. What happened to Coke - in the end they went back to the old Coke - it is like the new Coke didn't exist. I suggest you do the same thing with the new homepage -
That blue colour is an eyesore. I get on the page and I want to run away from the page as soon as possible because of that blue colour. Not to mention the page is too busy .....
You need to listen to your viewers. We are telling you that we hate your new homepage. You are losing customers because of it. PLEASE LISTEN!!! -

I DO NOT like the new page. It is more difficult to read the headlines. I liked the lay-out of the old format better. Please change it back or I may have to change my Home Page.

I really do not like this new format....I have lost some icons and everything is too big. I think it's time to find another homepage.

I used Yahoo as a centralizing point of my browsing. My favourites are not easly accesable. Cannot change my favorites. Too much on Page. Don't like the page.

I totally agree that the new home page is not efficient. I don't want to scroll through a multitude of so-called news items that I have no interest in (sports and entertainment-Hollywood stuff, cute human interest stuff) just to find Canadian news and world news items. Like many others, I no longer look at the home page at all. I merely click on Mail to read my emails and go to other news sites to get my news.

Just echoing everyone else, very difficult to follow scan and read, I'm already not using the page anymore, please change back yahoo, change is not always good for change sake, someone should question who signed off on the authorization for this, judging by the comments I see it was not tested with the average using public

have to agree the old format was EASY to navigate and simple to use. I guess they'd rather be hip and new and without customers. Looks like they are in a race to the bottom.
