  1. Mend you Sign In system please. For several attempts I was told to sign in using my usual device even though 99% of any year I only use this

Don't have a feature on your system that forces your customers to use any particular device. Some people only have one and some people have several.

  2. Please, PLEASE stop the security issue. I DO NOT WANT to have a code sent to phone in order to log into Yahoo on laptop.

I do not want to have constant reminder of 'security issue' I have changed my password more than once since the hack was revealed. It is up to Yahoo to sort out the security issues. I do not want to have a code sent to my phone every time I log in using laptop.

Considered changing to gmail or Hotmail but much prefer the Yahoo layout. Linking other accounts allows me to see all mailboxes in same format.

  5. Please stop putting those auto play videos on the news pages everywhere

It wakes my entire family if it just starts playing without me knowing that it would, plus I am startled every time - you are going to give someone a heart attack! Also it uses extra bandwidth that I do NOT want to spend on videos that I do NOT choose to watch.

  8. Improve? STOP THE VIDEOS in email! They are TERRIBLE!

The auto-loading videos in email are horrible! So annoying, and they slow the whole site down. Make them optional to LOAD, not to have to opt out of every time I open my mail.

Because of your incompetence you want to force me to secure my account which I don't want to do.

  10. Why is the text on the comments much smaller than the text on the article itself ?

Can you not have the text the same size on the comments AND the article ?

  11. Log in and out

Your mail default is to keep signed in. That is a potential security risk. The default should always be to sign out on closing a window. I notice I am far from the first to make this comment. Most other sites follow this rule - you should too. Also, you have recently changed the log out to prompt for confirmation requiring an unnecessary additional click. Good design always keeps the number of clicks to a minimum. Yahoo should know better.

  14. Why do we need to confirm we want to clear our spam folder?

Why oh why Yahoo do we need to confirm we want to clear our spam folder. Once we've clicked on the 'Empty the spam' folder icon please just empty it. We don't need to confirm this. Once is enough. Can you please get rid of this confirmation click box that asks us if we're sure. Of course we're sure other wise we wouldn't have clicked on the 'Empty the spam' icon. And it is only spam Yahoo. Nothing important. Just get rid of it once we ask you to. No need for another tick box.

I appreciate the steps Yahoo have taken in combating racism and antisemitism on its comments pages by changing the format, and have indeed defended the measures, as can be checked by you.
But recently it is apparent that the new format allows organised groups to silence individuals by a mass hitting of the abuse/complaints button. This particularly relevant during the many online debates re brexit and Ukip. This morning, 3 Mar, 2017, I posted the following:

"During the Referendum campaign there was a much repeated call to restore our nation to its former greatness.
    So let's just take a moment…

  17. As you are supposed to be security conscious you could make it easier to report Phishing e-mails.

I have just spent an age looking around your website for somewhere to report a phishing e-mail and have given up.

Put a button on your home page to click on to contact your security team.

stop default tick to keep signed in. Think it's a security risk and I prefer to log in and out every time. Do you take notice of any comments - seen others on forum making similar comments?

  19. Logging in

During logging into my account, you offered me to text code to my phone, so I agreed. Code arrived I properly entered it 4 times, but you said it was wrong input. Try to f**k off my account settings - I have already made settings I want how I want.

  20. If you're going to have sponsored results, vet them!

So many of your ads are spam, and even scams! Yahoo should be ashamed of itself for promoting websites looking to rip off it's visitors. I don't recall seeing a single sponsored ad of any interest.
