  1. Yahoo ignores Scotland

It has become clear, especially since the Covid event, that your news feed prioritises English and US stories and Scotland is largely ignored. Perhaps a Yahoo.scot option should be given.

  3. Reinstate Comments - ASAP !!!

Many 3rd rate news features and articles, by misinformed journalists / contributors / article authors, living in wonderland and in a cocoon are escaping unchallenged by our highly deserving choicest comments. Can Yahoo reinstate the comments section ASAP ?

  4. Time now to reinstate Yahoo comments

Yahoo removed the comments section during the tumultuous time of BLM and Trump campaign. Both of which they conveniently wanted to distance themselves to absolve blame for fuelling the fires. Now that both are long gone, can Yahoo turn life back to normal and business as usual by bringing back the comments ?

  5. Yahoo Improving Further

You can improve further by reinstating the comments and not censoring, editing, deleting, or having the 'report abuse' button.

  6. Does the 'show less from' button work?

I've used the show less option repeatedly for a news source and its content is still shown 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th, 8th, and 10th in my list.

  11. Using Names in Headlines

How about calling Scotland's First Minister by her full name rather than just using her last name in your news headlines. I find it insulting due to her position in the Scottish Government

  13. Why does Yahoo Answers allow both repeated abuse of the guidelines and also the use of racist terms?

Why does Yahoo Answers allow both repeated abuse of the guidelines and also the use of racist terms? There are people who spam the site but there seems to be no editorial control and even after being reports they are never dealt with.

  17. Reinstate article commenting - IMMEDIATELY ( Its taking TOOOOO long to decide )

QUOTE : "Our goal is to create a SAFE and engaging place for users to connect over interests and passions. In order to improve our community experience, we are TEMPORARILY suspending article commenting.
    1) SAFE ? Is someone going to pounce out of the screen and mug, assault, **, intimidate or the viewers ? It is only the weak and feeble minded who allow themselves to be 'cyber bullied'.
Don't understand how article commenting can be made SAFE.
    2) TEMPORARILY ? Looks as though article commenting has been PERMANENTLY suspended. Keep on dragging till viewers lose interest of it ever…

  18. I wish to complain strongly about the obvious bias of Yahoo's news articles.

I studied Journalism at university and I have to say the standard of journalistic standards adhered to by Yahoo is substandard, and actively harmful to the well-being of society. Too often, one-sided opinion pieces are promoted, with no option for user comments. User comments (uncensored) are the true voice of the public, and a vital counterpoint to any biased article, offering readers the opportunity to see both sides of an issue and make their own mind up. There is a clear anti-UK, anti-US bias to the op-ed pieces Yahoo chooses to prioritise. Real journalism would strive to provide both sides…
