New Zealand Homepage

At Yahoo we are committed to making your daily habits more inspiring and entertaining which is why we have introduced a new Yahoo homepage that is slicker, more modern and more intuitive than ever.

The new Yahoo homepage is available on your desktop, tablet or smartphone device.

To find out more about the new features check out the video in our blog and let us know what you think on this forum.

The Yahoo product feedback forum now requires a valid Yahoo ID and password to participate.

You are now required to sign-in using your Yahoo email account in order to provide us with feedback and to submit votes and comments to existing ideas. If you do not have a Yahoo ID or the password to your Yahoo ID, please sign-up for a new account.

If you have a valid Yahoo ID and password, follow these steps if you would like to remove your posts, comments, votes, and/or profile from the Yahoo product feedback forum.

Hi, please let us know how we can improve further.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  3. Creating a Yahoo account.

In order to create a new Yahoo email account, they insist that I supply them with a mobile phone number. I do not have one. No Yahoo for me then, I guess.

  4. Stop overloading pages with spam and video garbage. Makes me want to delete my account .

Get rid of the blatantly false "news" headlines and articles. All the spam and video **** only serves to slow down the loading of legitimate pages. And give me back my home page... I have a yahoo.nz account, but get defaulted to yahoo.au news pages. I'm getting sick and tired of having to redirect back to the NZ pages, which becomes more and more difficult to do as more **** gets loaded while I'm trying to navigate the page. Really, Yahoo is worse then Facebook now. Here's the biggest suggestion.... start heeding the feedback you are getting instead of ignoring…

  5. Have a contact email or phone number for customers having trouble. Your service is terrible!

I have been locked out of my account, and someone has removed all my recovery email addresses and phone number so I cannot access it. How do I get back into it?! You make it so easy for hackers to change our details but I cannot even find a contact email or phone number to ask you what to do! The worst service I have ever received. You will be losing a lot of customers.

  7. Proof and spell check.

I cannot tell you how many times I have seen misspelt words in your news articles. It honestly makes me wonder how much the rest of your content is checked for accuracy.

  13. Ban clickbait advertisements.

Ban clickbait advertisements. Scam advertisements cheapen the yahoo brand. They also breach the Fair Trading Act.

  15. Write literate copy for your posts, eg the one about snakes.

Your copy for the article on snakes is illiterate. Infantile language. Please do copy editing and make the copy worthwhile rather than stupid.

  18. you ask strange question 'to secure the account' (account is already secured and does not need soviet "security") have a nice day

in another words e mail account is 'secured' already that means that the 'user' does not know if other party 'reads' ones emails

"soviet security" first provokes then is making accusations (described in nyt)

so in belgium they blokek accounts from yahoo and also ask "soviet" questions for FUNCTIONAL EMAILS

perhaps it was a mistake to let the internet tevhnology to go elswehere than north america

and perhaps it was a mistake to let so called 'facebook' and 'twitter' to steal western freedoms

for instance us president acting like a 'private citizens' (using 'twitter' that is chat)

    or hiring his…

here is what I posted on my facebook page. Between my wife and I thats about 900 people reading this...Maybe Yahoo will do something about this...:
WARNING:..Don't click on any of the "news" links on Yahoo. You may get a ransom virus.
This has happened to me two or three times. I am a history buff and when I saw some " news" highlights:..."incredible photos of......"...and clicked on them...I got a ransom virus. This has kept me off the Yahoo news page, ever since.
Irene was posting some photos to Facebook. She accesses Facebook via Yahoo...She innocently clicked on a…
