       Situasi di Papua kembali mendapat sorotan internasional setelah Wakil Ketua Komite Nasional Papua Barat (KNPB) Mako Tabuni tewas ditembak, Kamis pekan lalu. Polisi mengklaim dia melawan saat akan ditangkap bersama pegiat KNPB lainnya. Polisi menggrebek markas KNPB yang dituding terlibat penembakan terhadap warga asing dan aparat keamanan.

    Kondisi Papua tak pernah aman ini menjadi bahasan dalam sidang Dewan Hak Asasi Manusia Perserikatan Bangsa-Bangsa di Kota Jenewa, Swiss, bulan lalu.
