How can we save our content if Yahoo says that the uploaded content does not belong to them?
We were just notified that Yahoo will no longer host content that has been uploaded, as of December 14, 2019. How can we save that content if, when we click on the download button, Yahoo's system comes up with the message that ""We are sorry, you cannot display imageshosted by Yahoo groups on non-Yahoo Groups pages" or another ********, Bogus errot Your browser sent a request that this server cannot understand" . PLEASE DO NOT SHUT DOWN YAHOO GROUPS!!!! For years 15+ freelance people in my industry have used the message boards to get jobs and refer people. This is a very important part of being able to work as a freelancer. I am very upset that Yahoo has not given us very much time to find other means or to save the library of files that we use. When I read a story on the Yahoo home page, I don't want to read two or three sentences, and click the next page 30 or 40 times to finish reading the story. When I see the next page button I don't read the story. Put the story on one page.

Why is fileuploading going away? There is no legal issue for Yahoo with a closed group.
Allow files to be posted within restricted groups. Nothing will be visable to the general user.

Even the shutdown is incompetent
With all material to be destroyed, I tried to save my group's material.
Yahell couldn't even do that. Instead, it took 2 weeks to package all of my posts to all of my groups for me to download: about 18 GB, and 80% of that was the photos which I have archived already.
I needed everything for my group, not everything for me.

I would like/love to talk/converse/discuss with a real person regarding the issues that have become evident over time. Thanks in advance.
To actually be able to talk/converse/discuss issues with a consultant in real time would be most beneficial to those who don't quite understand the technology but struggle to keep going and resolve their issues in a timely manner.

Cannot create album or upload photos for several months.
Made many attempts to contact support and get this issue fixed. Nothing is being done. I do not understand why Verizon paid so much for Yahoo then not support it. Should have let someone else purchase it that would maintain it.

Poor response to many complaints!
I'm checking the forum for others having the same "no photo" issue when trying to download a photograph submiited to a yahoogroup. There are dozens of these complaints, but no response from Yahoo or even technical people who are Yahoo employees.
There are many users who are dismayed, and possibly dissuaded from Yahoogroups due to this growing problem. I'm not only dismayed but I'm writing a message to our group and its monitors. to possibly move it from Yahoo groups to another group distribution service.
No support is bad for business, Yahoo! I'm writing a similar message out to Tech…

Management should read the feedback and act. This whole section is simply to let users let off steam, and the whole lot is stonewalled by arrogant management (Facebook and Google and Flickr are no better).

Let me access my 2 Groups - RochdalePS and RPScommittee, I am RPS secretary.
Allow user like me to get support. I cannot access RochdalePS and RPSCommittee and I am the "Owner" of both. I used to access them using my Password Manager, but something must have changed, as that is no longer working as it did. Has something changed since "OATH" acquired Yahoo? My main email address is ed.whitaker@btinternet.com on the BY Yahoo Mail service.
