Offer proper support to Yahoo Groups
Lots of people are having problems with Yahoo Groups and no proper support is offered. Please rectify this.

where are the groups I am a member of?
where are the groups I moderate?
I have to search for the groups I moderate, WTF?
Is this just going to go to a space in the interweb so you don't have to respond?
Agree. Where is the actual Support for the Yahoo Groups? You've changed it. It does not work properly. You are doing nothing to address the varying problems.

Have to chime in here and say the same thing. I dont know if this is everyone but, when I downloaded my group's data, the photos did not carry over. Empty zip files that dont open.
I knew it was going to be a nightmare to get this handled, even with well over a month of warning. The help area for Yahoo groups is absolutely useless as all the info will tell us to go to the Privacy Dashboard and choose "download my groups data". I contacted Twitter support and they sent me here (where I have already been and which is also useless).
You cant seriously be telling us to just issue feedback here and wait, when there is a deadline for when all that data goes poof. I'll be waiting right past the December 14th deadline if I rely on this space to rectify the situation.
MEAND GROUPS WILL BE CLOSED?
If I've got their info " Yahoo Groups will no longer allow users to upload content - Understand what's changing in Yahoo Groups, when the changes happen, and how to keep your important content. " and " Yahoo has made the decision to no longer allow users to upload content to the Yahoo Groups site. Beginning October 21, you won't be able to upload any more content to the site, and as of December 14 all previously posted content on the site will be permanently removed. You'll have until that date to save anything you've uploaded." , so they was to close Yahoo groups or letś say to froze them but without communication from Admins YG never will be changed to some kind of a "chat" groups. - or my members are awaiting new photos every week- such a mag with 17 yrs history . So that means start to look for new site. :-(

I'm looking for help on searches within Yahoo Groups conversations and am getting nowhere and no help. Search is a basic function yet within Groups, it is terrible. I cannot find an Advanced Search option and zero help on the Help site.
Apparently Yahoo does not acknowledge their own Feedback pages. Why even have "Feedback" if it not even looked at by Yahoo?
The "Contact Us" is even worse but just as useless.
I would not even bother with any Yahoo products if it weren't for the one Group i need as an important resource.
Can anyone suggest a different Group site that works really well? I'll pass the suggestion onto my Group and hopefully get far away from Yahoo.

JUST WHAT DO YOU CALL SUPPORT YAHOO. YOU ARE PATHETIC.
One method of offering proper support would be to read the feedback. It seems to be a management ploy to allow us to let off steam and feel as if we are achieving something, while always ignoring the feedback. No fast-food chain would survive with that management attitude.

I started getting bounced messages yesterday attempting to reply to existing discussion threads for a Yahoo group I moderate. Curiously, new threads seem to go through, but replies to at least some existing threads immediately bounce with a "permanent error".
This is an automatically generated Delivery Status Notification.
Delivery to the following recipients failed permanently:

i cant reply to my messages..what the **** yahoo???????
That is because yahell never consults the feedback. The feature is here only to make us think that we are being heard: like swearing in adversity, or punching a pillow. We let off steam, feel better, and management continues like a bulldozer. Yahell wants us to defect to facebook, and will achieve that goal with a mixture of malice and incompetence.
Believe that management means well when direct access is allowed.

Still waiting for the Yahoo Groups products team to tell us how they're fixing the bugs, give us a tool to let us report bugs, and in general show us a sign of life.

I am the owner and moderator of the Mearns Bird Club Yahoo group:
When I enter calendar events they can now be entered into the site, where they couldn't be entered some months ago, but none of the calendar events are being sent out to members. This is been going on for months. It is now March 2019. Please fix it. I have to really send out emails to members regarding calendar events which is unnecessary.

Sun.10.3.19 test post: unchanged since 16.2. I endorse all of the comments in this thread, but arrogant yahell allows only 'flag as inapproriate', and not 'flag as highly appropriate'. It doesn't read anything from feedback anyhow. The whole section exists to help us spend our energy and feel as if we have achieved something.
It is a deliberate management strategy to scare us all away. The advertisers don't want us here either: they want us at more-productive locations.
