Yahoo Groups has recently announced that it will discontinue most of its functionality, will future email conversations be archived? Your page at https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN31010.html?impressions=true describes all the functions that will disappear, including files, databases and conversation archives. BUT it says that Yahoo Groups can still be used to send group emails -- what it does not answer is whether those future conversations will be archived going forward.

Not too concerned about archiving. But CAN WE ATTACH DOCUMENTS OR PHOTOS TO EMAIL UNDER THE NEW REGIME?

No, it will all be deleted.
Google "Personal Groupware" for software to save everything.
It’s strange how things come back to their beginning.
I created this program (PGO) during the Dot Com implosion, 19 years ago, to preserve the data on the Yahoo Groups I was a member of.
Now it is being used again for the purpose for which it was originally intended…. the emergency preservation of data.
It is a fitting, if sad end.

I have same question, although additionally, will our 19 years and ~30,000 message archive go away with the new system.
