I found "customer care" totally unhelpful. No replies to my question in Community. And "contact us" doesn't let me contact an actual person.
The "Contact us" icon shows a picture of a woman with a headset, implying that there is an actual person waiting to help us. Instead, there is just a chain of options, none of which addressed my actual issue, which leads to a dead-end with nowhere else to turn for help. I posted on Community but no replies, probably because my issue is rather unusual. I need someone to access my computer remotely to see what the problem is.
Empower your existing group owners who are in good standing with yahoo to help in group problem solving.
another question: are you reading this "USERVOICE" posts you set up yourself for us to tell you?
I too have had the same problem. But they have failed to do what they say they will do in their instructions on how to change the groups monitor.
Anyone know of an alternate site to use if a user is not satisfied with yahoo?
They dont even read our comments here, on this "uservoice" they created for us (supposedly) contact YAhoo !!!
So many problems with the groups remain unsolve
they arent even coming to read this, you know.
what a JOKE !

We had a pretty successful group, that is till Yahoo over everyones objections decided to make it so complicated that now almost no one bothers. Our photo albums which use to be easy to find in alphabetical order are now totally scrambled and many ended up in plain "photos" which then refuses to allow them to be viewed in order. Messages are so messed up with so many options that no one knows how to even respond and if they do who knows how it will show up. I have watched with sadness another group on another site that has similar information sweep past us in growth and has constant easy to read messages and photos. Where we had 210 messages in a month at times before this mess, we now are lucky to have two, and often only mine. If someone has set out to destroy yahoo groups they have done a pretty good job of it. If I didn't have so much time invested in the information I try to make available I would have left long ago but keep hanging on thinking one day it will return to great format it was, but now I doubt it.
Disappointed that Contact Us just goes into a dead end of preset answers with no opportunity to ask the question I want the answer to. And I going there because the help is so straight jacketted with fixed answers. Each bit of help has not addressed the issue so I have fed back accordingly.
NOBODY HAS BEEN ANSWERING HERE EITHER !!!
YAHOO WHERE HAVE YOU GOT LOST
Cannot get any help unlike before when you can send an email and get a response from somebody helpful.

I have found that it takes many rounds of patient work to convince the Yahoo Groups folks that they have an easily reproducible and obvious bug. As noted things go into a black hole and the bug is never fixed.
It seems that Yahoo Groups abandoned this forum on Oct. 26th when they announced on this forum that they are "unable to work" on bugs. There are recent and small signs of improvement.
Hopefully Yahoo will start looking at things here seriously again and we can return to our work of helping them fix their product!
I am in agreement with several comments regarding no assistance! I am trying to update a file and each time I delete it I get a message indicating there was a problem loading the file. The issue for me is to add the new file which is the same as the old file I need to get rid of the old file 1st. An thoughts or suggestons would be appreciated.

There is no support either from Yahoo or the Community. I'm just going to pull out of Yahoo Groups after many years because the sites quickly get invaded by spam unless the administrator works on them all the time. My pleas for advice, as a member, were totally ignored.

I feel your pain, and I hope someone is able to help you. I just wish Yahoo would give us a PERSON to speak with about our issues. Maybe it is time to go somewhere else...someone who cares and is willing to help.
