US Groups

This forum is for you to make product suggestions and provide thoughtful feedback. We’re always trying to improve our products and we can use the most popular feedback to make a positive change!

If you need assistance of any kind, please find self-paced help on our help site. This forum is not monitored for any support-related issues.

The Yahoo product feedback forum now requires a valid Yahoo ID and password to participate.

You are now required to sign-in using your Yahoo email account in order to provide us with feedback and to submit votes and comments to existing ideas. If you do not have a Yahoo ID or the password to your Yahoo ID, please sign-up for a new account.

If you have a valid Yahoo ID and password, follow these steps if you would like to remove your posts, comments, votes, and/or profile from the Yahoo product feedback forum.

Hi, please let us know how we can improve Groups.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".
(thinking…)

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  5. ownership and groups page conflicts

Even though my membership & ownership is approved under email address "Y", my group will only appear when logged in under an email address "X", so I cannot take action as individual Y to manage the group. I don't know how it go under X in the first place when I created the group, but since there are now a couple dozen members, I really don't want to start all over. Cannot find any technical support on this, or any other technical problem anywhere.

  9. I have not been able to add anybody to my group for 6 months. Three different people with three different domains. Please help.

Can we go back to being able to add people to the email group directly? I have been trying to add three different people (3 different domains) for 6 months, no luck. Checked SPAM filters and folders, they just aren't getting the invites. Please help.

  13. Please fix problems that are reported. We can't use Yahoo Group if it doesn't work!! Come on Yahoo, work for us, not against us.

Fix Yahoo Groups so that invitations do not result in error message. Multiple owners report the same problem. We can't use Yahoo Groups if it doesn't work. Come on Yahoo, you can do it???? Or is the technology beyond you??

  15. I am having trouble inviting new members to my yahoo group list.

People I invite to the list are turned down by the Yahoo server when they try to reply. Can you get someone to help me figure out how to correct this?

    Thanks,

    Dave McNeely

I am a moderator on at least two active Yahoo groups, and ever since last fall, I don't have moderator privileges. In both Cyberscribes and Calligraphy Guild of Columbus, the other moderators say I am listed as the moderator. When I go to the home pages, I do not see the last drop down tab that says "Management". I am acknowledged as a member on the Cyberscribes site. But the Calligraphy Guild of Columbus site won't even let me view the page. It says "oops! You need to be a member to perform this action." This has been going on…

In mobile Web browser you can't manage your group members, there is no members link anywhere! Please give access to members to smartphone and tablet users! In mobile I can't see who has recently joined and can't invite new people.

  20. I can't find the "edit groups" button

I can no longer send email from the email address that is signed up for a group, so I can't unsubscribe that way. But I still receive those email messages, so I want to leave the group. And now there is no way to delete myself from a group by going to the main group page, even though there are instructions on that page to click on the nonexistent "edit groups button." I don't want these emails any longer, please make it possible to leave the group!
