  1. A existing "feedback" item needs further attention - the "ME" problem must be addressed!

No one in Yahoo support has explained a) the apparent confusion within YAHOO MAIL about whether this is part of "conversations" or not or b) why <even in conversations> this is a good idea. Thanking us profusely for our input is not helpful; you are obviously ignoring many many users inputs and giving us lip-service in reply. Please reconsider this. How about an email with "change it/don't change" choices. Surely there is a tool at yahoo's disposal to…

      Thank you for your feedback regarding this feature. We’re sorry for the lack of details we’ve provided regarding our decision on the matter, we cannot share internal decisions until they have been made public.

      What we can tell you is that our engineers are looking into the best way to make the changes recommended (and voted on) by many of our customers, regarding the ‘conversations’ feature.

    • Please add an option to remove the date headers from my email. I don't need it to tell me if an email came in today or Monday.

      This takes up too much room on my screen and is unnecessary. The visual clutter makes it hard to scan through new emails and tell what I want to read, move or delete. If you're trying to make Yahoo mail more like Outlook, be like Outlook and let me disable it please.

        Suggesting which contacts I want to add to my emails is very annoying and entirely unhelpful. I want the option to OPT COMPLETELY OUT of this feature rather than what I read on your "help" page which states that I can opt out of a particular email suggestion each time I add contacts to a message. This is frustrating. Please fix. I do not want yahoo to guess who I want to send a message to. It's my email and I know exactly who I want to add to the message.

        ADD AN OPT OUT of autosuggest button under settings.

        • A one click function to block email address

          It should be easy to block email address. I don't know why this has not been implemented. Do you guys make money from it?

          I don't want to have to go into settings. It's true spammers can just generate new email addresses, but at least that makes it slightly harder for them. And also an option to block their host.

            The following code in YMRTEYUI_54_1167.js:

            which is part of the rich/Advanced e-mail composer interface wrongly interprets Right Alt + z key click on Windows 7 x64 with Polish keyboard as "undo" text editor function, while it should produce the following Polish language character: ż

                • The curious case of the dissapearing Romanian I

                  Medium has an article named "The curious case of the disappearing Polnish S" - https://medium.com/medium-eng/the-curious-case-of-disappearing-polish-s-fa398313d4df

                  The article is all about Windows interpreting AltGr as Ctrl+Alt and medium.com was treating Ctrl+S from AltGr+S.

                  Yahoo does the same with the Romanian Î character which is generated using the Romanian Programmers Keyboard using AltGr+I.

                  Yahoo sees Ctrl+I from the combination Ctrl+Alt+I generated by AltGr+I and sets the Italic flag in the text editor.

                  Medium.com has an easy fix for this, check if the right alt was pressed. If it was ... it's not Ctrl+I!

                  Please fix this problem Yahoo.

                    • Smart Views is tagging messages incorrectly

                      Smart Views is a good Idea, but poorly implemented. It is tagging messages from many Yahoo services and newsletters as "People" and we do not have ways to "teach" smart views how to behave.
                      What is the point in having Smart View if we can not improve it? For God's sake, this is not a new concept and amazes me that Yahoo is doing it so bad.

                      • I'm having loading issues within the Inbox

                        I am notified of a new message on the folder tree, but need to completely reload the mail interface in order for the messages to load within the Inbox to view.

                        Also, when attempting to select emails to delete, the delete key does not become available right away. It appears that the loading process for the page is lagging, possibly due to ads or something else.

                        This issue occurs when using IE, Firefox or Chrome. No changes or updates have been made to any security software or firewall.

                        • Quit spamming me.

                          Every time I go through my emails more than half come from you. I just deleted 85 emails and 47 were from you. 55% of my emails coming from my email provider is beyond excessive.

                          • email is extremely slow, I click on a task and it is so slow that I don't know what is happening

                            email is so slow, I click on a task to do and it is extremely slow so much so that I go to click on another task and the previous task finishes and interrupts the task I am doing. Starting sometime in the last few months I also get hundreds of spam emails that I didn't used to get. The slowness and awkward response times only started this week, the deluge of spam emails started a few months ago.

                                Every day, all day long, I experience send and receive errors with the Yahoo mail servers. This has been going on for months; it works for a while, and then it stops working again. What is wrong with you people! Doesn’t anyone there know how to operate a mail server anymore? I’ve been using yahoo mail as my primary address for over 10 years and this has never happened before. What is going on with your company? Why can’t you make this thing work? And why is there no place on your website where I can actually contact a support…
