Tell us how we can improve your Yahoo Mail experience. The more specific your feedback, the more useful for us. While we can’t respond to every suggestion, we review regularly and take them very seriously. Our Guidelines have more on how you can give great feedback.

The Yahoo product feedback forum now requires a valid Yahoo ID and password to participate.

You are now required to sign-in using your Yahoo email account in order to provide us with feedback and to submit votes and comments to existing ideas. If you do not have a Yahoo ID or the password to your Yahoo ID, please sign-up for a new account.

If you have a valid Yahoo ID and password, follow these steps if you would like to remove your posts, comments, votes, and/or profile from the Yahoo product feedback forum.

Tell us how we can improve your Yahoo Mail experience.

You've used all your votes and won't be able to post a new idea, but you can still search and comment on existing ideas.

There are two ways to get more votes:

  • When an admin closes an idea you've voted on, you'll get your votes back from that idea.
  • You can remove your votes from an open idea you support.
  • To see ideas you have already voted on, select the "My feedback" filter and select "My open ideas".

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

If a similar idea already exists, you can support and comment on it.

If it doesn't exist, you can post your idea so others can support it.

Enter your idea and we'll search to see if someone has already suggested it.

  3. How about an email to get in touch with an actual yahoo agent. I am having problems logging

Being able to contact and actual agent. I am having problems logging into my account and guess what, there is no easy way to fix it or to even get in touch with someone who can actually help. It tells me to verify that it is my address and when I click to have the verification code sent to me guess where it goes, to my yahoo email which I cant get into because i cant verify that it is me. This is absolutely ridiculous.

  4. STOP the Pop Up Warning for 'Less Secure Sign In'

Please STOP the constant pop up warning (on my desktop webmail) regarding sign in for less secure third party apps. I know I am using a non yahoo mail app on my phone and I will continue to do so, despite your warnings.

The repetitive warning is **** ANNOYING, so please turn it off. I know what my preferences are and I don't need to be asked to change them 6 times a day!!!!

Yahoo's refusal to assist certain other third party apps with the security protocol changes is arrogant. Yahoo will NOT force me to use the Yahoo mail…

  5. Interface Language

You should add back the option to change languages and content into account settings. Not being able now to change the language is so anoying. For example, even if my ip address is different from the one I've created my account, and my yahoo mail language is one I've selected a few years back, the yahoo content page and the mail app dosen't change the to the current location, as i read in yahoo help. so please put back the option to change the language and also the yahoo content. will be very helpful. thanks

  6. Re-enable importing emails via POP

On April 1st, Fools' Day, the new updated version of Yahoo mail will not support the import of emails via POP. Sounds like a Fool’s day joke, please fix it for the rest of the year.

  7. You may switch back by either clicking the Go to Classic Mail in the Lower Left or click on the settings icon...these options do not appear!

I have tried in vain to switch back to Classic Mail, but the options described in various posts do not work. There is no option in settings to select Classic Mail, nor is there a button in the lower left corner. I will find a new email provider if I can't get out of this.

  9. Allow disabling of spam filters or allow POP3 downloading of all e-mails (including 'spam')

I prefer to download all my e-mails via POP3 and deal with spam at my end once they are downloaded. The Yahoo mail spam filters have too many false positive filters for my liking. A long time ago you could turn the spam filters off. This was great. Then you decided to remove that option for some unfathomable reason. But that wasn't the end of the world - there was a work around with filters but then you disable that. Still it was OK POP3 downloaded them all so it only affect me those rare times I used webmail. Now…

  11. Please provide a better, more efficient way to manage email filters

The purpose of Yahoo filters is to clean your Inbox and stay organized. With Yahoo! Mail Plus, you can create up to 1,000 filters that tell incoming messages what folder to be delivered to using certain criteria. You can even direct unwanted email to Trash.

With this feature where the order of the filters matters, it is important for the user to prioritize their filters from top down. Without an efficient way for users to manage their filters, how then are we supposed to do that?

The current filter view/functionality presents challenges for the following reasons:

    • Trying to sort…

  14. Ads Make Writing Emails Extremely Difficult

I am working on transferring my accounts to another email server because reading and replying to emails is near impossible due to the ads. My computer (all of the computers I use) slow down dramatically because of the constant reloading of ads on the right hand side of the screen.
Please consider changing your advertising format or make "Yahoo Mail Classic" available again.

  16. Please make Top results optional or remove it all together

Even if you only make it optional please do something about putting the Top Results in my search isn't actually helping me. It makes the reading of my emails much more difficult. Most of the time the Top Results have nothing to do with what I am looking for.

I get a lot of superfluous advertisements (spam) thrown at me by Yahoo, to be expected from a free account so, Why do I keep finding my right-wing, Christian, pro-life, and 2nd Amendment news feeds/emails in the SPAM folder?? Why should what MY email consists of be of any concern of yours??!!!

  20. automatic videos

Automatic Videos: Dear Yahoo Mail, please ***** right off with automatically playing videos when my mailbox is empty. There isn't a human alive who actually wants this feature. It is insanely annoying, especially when I'm at work. This one "feature" and the fact that there is no way to opt out is a solid reason for me wanting to drop my yahoo account entirely. I mean seriously, every time the video pops up, I get a tad murdery.
