Improve the Block function
The block function should not take two (or three) steps to complete.
If you select "block" for a specific e-mail or spam communication, it should block it and not allow anything further from that domain.
Why have the users to send future e-mails from the sender into the spam folder when they should be blocked fully?
If the blocking function is supposed to block unwanted messages, then let it do it's job as (I'm assuming here) it's supposed to do?
Why would I (or anyone else for that matter) want to continue to receive anything that has been flagged as spam at all?
(Being flagged as spam sends it to the spam inbox...)
Not only that, your system is sending absolutely good e-mails into the spam inbox.
Once a message is sent to the spam inbox and the user blocks it, there should be no more messages of that sort being received by the user.
Please make this option work properly or remove it altogether...we're probably receiving this sort of mail because there's an inbox for it.
I block hundreds of filthy spam emails daily. Some outright use the F-word, ****, and say thye contain photos of nudity. I have never ever opened any of this, but the numbers are increasing, even though I block every one of them. Yahoo, Wake up! Make the Block feature count for something! I am regretting I even have a Yahoo account. Might be time to switch over to Gmail!
I see where this probably won't do any good but I'm putting my 2 cents in also.. I am also getting the so called "blocked" emails in my spam folder. IF I BLOCK A DOMAIN THAT MEANS I DO NOT WANT TO EVER SEE IT AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GET IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you don't start actually blocking these emails, I will be forced to close my Yahoo account! I block them on my MSN account and they stay blocked. I don't see them any more. PLEASE YAHOO, FIX THIS NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My complaint is the same.
I rec'd this email - must be spam, I have never rec'd anything like this before.
Totally disappointed in the fact that block feature is a complete joke. Receiving so many explicit emails daily that it's frustrating. Come on Yahoo, it's time to address this issue.
Maxime Zahra you can report the problem to Microsoft & they'll terminate the Hotmail account.Supply a copy of full header to abuse@Outlook.com

Why hasn't yahoo blocked this spam that is so obvious? "Yahoo Mail firstname.lastname@example.org" ? This is the 3rd email that has made it into my inbox in a week!
Here is a typical example of the 20+ sexually explicit spam e-mails I receive daily. All are sent "X- Yahoo Filtered Bulk." IP address for this one is for a legitimate company, Cadre Technologies. Doesn't Yahoo have the ability to block all such "Filtered Bulk" from every reaching its account users? This is garbage.

I've been wondering why I still get SPAM from blocked senders. Crazy. Yahoo whose side are you on?
Yes yes yes. Solve this problem. I have changed passwords and done all you suggest to no avail. The last few moths have been horrendous and I shutter to think how many times my e:mail address is ending up annoying my contacts in their spam folders. You have a huge problem. I am this/close to abandoning yahoo and moving to gmail.
I also need to block e mails from Spam, no need unwanted e mails comes to us and we need to delete wasting our time. Some language I don't know and I am receiving many mails.
Yahoo! Please listen to us, I see Linda's comment below she is receiving 120 a day, I am at a total of this morning 93. I've never had this much spam in my spam folder. PLEASE do work on a solution where we all can block all these unwanted e-mails.
Nearly one month passed without a single x-rated e-mail. I really thought Yahoo had resolved the problem. Now, out of nowhere, it has started up again. About 12 per day, the usual filth - Russian Brides, Asians, VIP Dating. How are these scam artists getting their hands on lists of Yahoo e-mail addresses? All I can do is block, which is virtually worthless. Please, Yahoo, reassure users that you are working on real solutions.
I get at the very least 120 spam messages daily!!!!! I have continually BLOCKed them...This buttom doesn't work....
My office email is hotmail....I block spam and it BLOCKS spam....I'm switching....do you even read these comments????
I get at least 20 if not more spam emails a day. I block them all but same thing the following day. It's 2016, come on yahoo, this is simply not good enough.
Agree, if I block someone's email it should be totally blocked. In other words, it should not go to spam. What is the purpose of BLOCK if it truly does not block?
Yea same here ,we should not get inappropriate spam regardless. I have unencribed from certain sites and still get them from other countries.Dont just block spam find a way to get rid of it
does yahoo ever answer you people they never seen them answer on this site
Same issue. Please fix.
I have an friend whose scbglobal account has been compromised. I have reported this as such 40 or more times and Yahoo stiil sends it. The compromises are not good sites. They still come to my inbox. BOO!
