Sub folders!

I use Hotmail/outlook web based email at work, it breaks every now and then, but it does allow me to organise my emails into subfolders, which are always on the left side bar.

Please bring this feature to Yahoo, it would be very useful.

No, this doesn't work. I am using Yahoo mail full service. This is how it worked before you "enhanced" this icky mail program. Not sure what you are looking at but not the mail my friends and I use.

Thank you so much. Only one NOTE : This should be available DRAG FEATURE .
one EXAMPLE : ALL ABOUT CUSTOMERS HAVE SIX SEVEN FOLDER . FoR join all in a single folder and seven sub -folders , I have to create a sub- folder , and move the old folder . Many folders have more than 100 pages of messages ....
        Thanks in advance

        Hi Prod support,
really want to see the option to EXPAND the vertical folder-pane so that we can see the complete name of the Folders without getting into that folder...

Could you please share any thoughts when you might get to this implemented ?

It does seem to be working correctly and that's good. If it doesn't work for you try reloading yahoo mail, that worked for me.

Good to have this feature, longing to have it for good organization & continuous use of yahoo as major email browser..

        This is very good news!
Question - If I move an existing folder tied to a filter into another folder will the filter be updated automatically?

The problem that I just came up with is once you have added a subfolder to folder that you have you can't rename the folder. I have been changing names of folders for along time & I have looked at the instruction articles & they don't help for this

Ha. None of the described menu features are enabled on my browser (latest Chrome). Tried installing Firefox for Yahoo from the link provided on the Yahoo site, and can't access Yahoo AT ALL on that browser, let alone use this feature.

        /Getting very ticked off, Yahoo./

Um. I'm not getting the "Create Subfolder" menu option. Is this only supported on select browsers or something?

      • PinkPink commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Okay, love the sub folders BUT...
I don't want to see what's in the folder/ sub folder when I'm "moving" a file!! The whole point of the sub folder is to be able to 'hide' it and info in it until it is needed!! Then hit the arrow to expand the folder! You're close but "NO CIGAR" !! KEEP tweaking ....
        Thanks!

BEWARE... moving an existing folder underneath another folder BREAKS any filters you have setup for that existing folder.

      • Anonymous commented  ·   ·  Flag as inappropriate

Finally. HOWVER... you can't rename a main folder after you have subfolders in it.

        It's about time! Thank You!
I'll let you know if I like it the way you have it set up...
